Diana laughed. "Yes, I'm from New England. Spent a lot of time in London though, for grad school so I'm sure there's a bit of an accent there," she said.

"It's...almost like Boston, but softer. More genteel, like," *murmured Jake thoughtfully as he tugged on the reins.* "Almost there..."

"My father runs a pretty successful business in Massachusetts," she said as the horse came to a halt.

**NEW DAY**
*Ed Wood led Scaramouche and Galileo out into the bright sun of noonday Paris.*
"Well. Here's Paris," *he said.* "No cars, you'll notice, or neon signs. Just barely electric here, you know. So... what exactly do you want to see? I mean, what'll be useful to you? We could just take a cab 'round the city, if you want a larger view of things. Or just hit the hot spots."

*Galileo was a bit overwhelmed at the reality of 19th Century non-virtual Paris. There was so much to see, hear, smell...it was almost a sensory overload. The real world in Planet Mall wasn't anything like this, and the huge difference remarkable.*
"Wow."

"Yeah."
*Edward stuffed his hands in his pockets and took in the scene around them.*
"It's... a lot."

"I never thought the world could be like this. Seeing what I've been missing makes me even angrier with Globalsoft than I was before."
*His voice held an awed tone to it as he spoke*

*Edward was suddenly very happy he was going to be part of bringing this Globalsoft down.*
"We'll take care of them," *he said.* "Everyone should see Paris."

"So! Where should we start? I only know landmarks since those were online, too, but I know there's more to it than that. Any ideas?"

*He shrugged.*
"You won't see it all in a day. But what's most important; where people hang out, or neighborhoods, or churches...?"

*He only had to think for a moment to come up with the answer*
"The popular spots. Globalsoft would only care about those, so we should start there and try to see what we can find."

*Edward nodded.*
"The Kit Kat Klub it is, then," *he said.* "This way!"
