((I first noticed it a couple years ago. I saw a picture of him in some magazine, and he wasn't even dressed as Lestat, but I was all like, "OHMYGODRICHARD!!!" from the first moment.))

((So... want to send Gatsby into the foyer so we can actually, you know, RP?))

((Sure. Although I've got other characters than Gatsby that might have more in common with Richard. Like being dead.))

((Even better. I just meant we should start actually RPing instead of sitting here... doing whatever this is.))

*Faye wandered through the foyer, invisible to all the living, humming a tune that no one could hear, although perhaps they might feel cold when she passed.*

Of course, she hadn't reckoned on the presence of someone else dead- mostly because he didn't look dead. ((Fancy Asphodelian technology from a book I'm writing.)) He stood in the corner, looking at the assemblage of Goth girls with faint distaste.

((Asphodel. Nice touch. ^__^ And Sue!Me was the only real goth girl, and she's left, now, but I guess the rest of the Sues are...sort of Gothic? *shrug*))
*Faye craned her neck, frowning slightly, looking for Virginia and not seeing her amongst the crowd of girls. She sighed and turned to continue looking, idly wiping a hand over the blood trickling down her white neck, which did little to stem the constant flow of crimson.* Where could she be?
((How might Faye recognize that Richard's dead?))

((Yeah, Asphodel's the big Underworld city in the novel I'm working on. Living people in the story often can pick up on a slight feeling of "not quite right" when they're talking to someone who's concealed their deadness, so maybe Faye can tell just by that?))

((Well if he looks solid and is ignoring her, she would think he's living, wouldn't she? She believes herself invisible to everyone.))

Maybe he can notice her bleeding?))

((Or, more in character, he could get annoyed.))
Richard suddenly became aware of a little song drifting through the air, seemingly apart from the Goth girls' ruckus. As she passed him, he realized the sound was coming from her, and he abruptly snapped, "Do you mind? I am trying to concentrate, and it is bad enough in here as it is."
