*Looks at the painting*
I would have thought it would be in a museum...

((You don't. She just follows you with her eyes and thinks things about you to herself. Hmmm or maybe you could rig up some kind of Ouija board set up.))

***NEW DAY***
*In the middle of the night, something woke La Gioconda.*
What on earth?
*She could see little in the darkness, but caught a whiff of something sickly-sweet.*
Chloroform? I'm a f*cking painting!
*But it was too late, and a sack was thrown over her, obscuring everything as she helplessly felt herself being lifted from the wall and borne away.*

(("Chloroform"? FTW))
*Holmes passed through the foyer on the way to rehearsal one morning when a suspicious bare rectangle caught his attention. He paused, within a moment recalling the wall's previous state. Just yesterday, he'd noticed La Gioconda hanging there. He had, in point of fact, been curious as to what it was doing here at all, and suspected a copy, though he had not been at leisure to investigate at that moment. Now, it seemed, someone had decided for him that it was valuable. Because it was no longer here.
But it was no use theorizing before the facts were firmly in hand. It was quite possible the painting had been moved, or temporarily relocated for cleaning. He would ascertain that, as soon as he could find a manager.*
