*Virginia stood waiting in the foyer at three o'clock, having finished her business at the opera and successfully fought the urge to go put on a prettier dress. She had abandoned her veil, but kept her hair in a thick braid down her back, as usual; and wore a simple white dress with a modest square neckline.*

*Aimery showed up in much the same plain manner of dress, but he had found a modest grey jacket and a cap tucked under his arm. He approached Virginia, pad in hand.*
You look lovely. Are you ready to go? Do we need to bring anything?

((Awww he's got a hat! Yay hats!))
*Virginia blushed at the compliment, but smiled.* "We needn't take anything--my trunk's gone ahead to the house. I didn't have much to take." *She turned to the door but saw Aimery looked a little hesitant. She took his hand and drew him outside.* "It'll be fine."

*Aimery was surprised, but not alarmed as he was pulled out into the sunlight. The feel of her hand was nice and comforting. He could do this. It had been a while since he had gotten to serve a good cause. He was looking forward to it, but was still nervous. He didn’t even know where they were going. He looked to Virginia questioningly, not really minding that he couldn’t ask her at the moment. He was happier with the other preoccupation of his hand locked in hers. His cap quickly found its way to his head.*
