Evangeline alighted from the carriage with much grace and poise. She examined the exterior of the opera house thoroughly, finding it much to her satisfaction.
"This is it, sir, this is it," she stated cheerfully to the driver. "Could you please help me with my bags, sir?" The driver hopped off his seat and grabbed her things with both hands.
"Where should I set them down, mademoiselle?"
"Oh, just right in there, sir. That would be lovely." Evangeline clasped her hands together and sighed happily. She followed the man into the foyer.

*enters behind Evangeline, her many bangles clinking together and she smoothes her skirts and looks around, not daring to speak directly to a woman of such class*

*Philippe sighed and ascended the steps of the Operahouse. He entered the hall and gave his hat and coat to the doorman. *
Of all the places I have dreaded returning to, this is the greatest.
*He coughed and placed a hand on his heart which seemed to continually ache.*

"Oh, uh... sir! May I ask a favor of you, sir?" Eva turned to pick up her bags and found herself face-to-face with a young woman with refined and pretty features. She gasped, startled, and quickly apologized. "I'm sorry, I did not see you there."
