((Ha, I really want to watch that movie with Will Smith. ;D))
Tristan settled his bags on the foyer floor with diligence. His mouth gaped open with the sight of the room, so grand as it were! He could not wait to see the rest of the opera house.
"Where would the manager's office be?" he asked himself, unconsciously aloud.

((So tempted to bring in a wangsting Ennis Del Mar. Will settle for Nadir.))
*Nadir strode through the foyer, his eyes fastened on some papers in his hand he had for the managers. He barely glanced up at the newcomer.* "Up these stairs, second door on the left," *he said clearly, never breaking his pace as he took the steps two at a time ahead of the younger man.*

"Um, thank you," Tristan called out. He hurried up the stairs to follow.

*Nadir entered the manager's offices without even knocking and set the papers on their desks, scribbling a note in the margins. He'd begun to take a more active role in the opera since he'd, well, murdered their patron, donating large amounts of financial support in the Vicomte's stead, being equally well-monied, if not richer, as often titled families found themselves a bit low on cash, if wealthy in blue blood. Nadir was only a good businessman and did his best to forget whose blood ran through his veins. As much as the opera was still in need of an aristocratic name to lend support and prestige to its name, the monetary donations were just as well received. Nadir turned to go and bowed shortly to the young man.* "I'm certain the managers shall be with you directly to tend to whatever business needs you may have with them, Monsieur," *he said.*

Tristan nodded. "Right. Thank you again, sir, for your help."

*Nadir half-smiled at the fresh-faced youth who knew nothing of the real troubles of the world besides perhaps being jilted by a milkmaid or two.* "You are most welcome, my boy. No large trial, as you see I was on my way here myself." *Nadir bowed again.* "Good day to you, then." *Touching the brim of his hat, he turned and left.*

"Good day to you, also, sir!" Tristan called out as the rather helpful man left the room.

((Nadir's last post makes me think of jousting milkmaids. Astride cows instead of horses. It's... weird.))
