Would they recognize her as the duchess? Would they believe she had come back from the dead?
A figure cloaked in dark red entered the foyer. Sophie could not hide forever. She pulled down her hood and scanned the room intensely for familiar faces. None. The young woman sighed with relief and returned outside to fetch her bags.
It was the start of a new beginning...
--a half-hour later--
The young woman cautiously wandered the halls in search of an empty room. She heard a noise and quickly turned around. "Who's there?" she cried.

"Just me, ma'am. Sorry to startle you."
Indiana found it rather odd that someone was wearing a red riding hood, but, being that her choice of attire wasn't exactally vogue, she decided not to mention it.
"You alright?"

Sophie raised a trembling hand to her chest.
"Oh! I'm... fine. You just frightened me... a bit," stuttered the young woman. "Um... would you mind helping me find a spare room?"

Indiana decided that this one was a little excitable for her own good.
"No problem, ma'am. I reckon you can bunk with me if you wouldn't mind. If you'd perfer yer own room, I understand, but there seem to be some perverts 'round here ifin ya know what I mean."

Sophie nodded.
"Yes, I would like that. Thank you so much for your hospitality." The young woman looked down at the ground and spoke in a softer tone. "The past few days have not gone too well for me."

"That's right awful, ma'am. 'Course, we all have our days. Some of us have our years." -chuckle- "But look on the bright side, at least you ain't dead."
((Meet me in the dormatories, I'll start a thread.))
"The dormatories are this way."
