*Casanova strides in easily, immaculately dressed in the foppish style of mid-18th-century Venice. He'd made the decision to visit Paris after he'd been run out of Venice realized he was long-due for a holiday.* "Now," *he murmured, glancing at Lupo, his manservant, who hovered behind him.* "Let me see what the Paris Opera has to offer."

*Belladonna walked in, humming softly to herself. Her long golden hair fell in shimmering waves to her tiny waist, and her pretty dress exactly matched the blue of her eyes. Looking up, she smiled shyly but charmingly at the newcomer and extended a hand to him* Hi! I'm Belladonna.

*Casanova took her hand and bowed over it, pressing his lips warmly to the back of her fingers.* "Piacere, Miss..." *his voice took on a subtly husky quality as he carefully annunciated the Italian words he knew so well which formed her name.* "...Bella...donna... How apt." *He stepped back and bowed again, with a flourish of his lace-edged cuff.* "Giacomo Casanova, at your service."

*Belladonna continued to smile up at him, her enormous blue eyes shining* It's lovely to meet you! *She thought for a moment, then smiled again* Welcome to the opera! Is there anywhere or anyone or anything I can take you to or help you with?

"I thought to just wander the place." *Casanova walked over to the staircase and absently laid a lean hand on the ample hip of one of the golden statues.* "Wonderful design of the place..." *he gazed casually about while his hand roved idly over the statue's buttocks.* "Lovely pillars," *he said, nodding to the thick supports.*

Susanna was returning from her visit to the cemetery with red eyes and a throughly wet handkerchief when she spotted a new, young gentleman.
"Excuse me? Were you in need of any assistance, monsieur?" She said softly.

((Not the pillars!))
It's really beautiful here. *Belladonna nodded earnestly* And everyone seems to love the pillars. I'm not sure why, I mean, they are lovely, but people just keep vanishing behind them and coming out happy. *She shrugged adorably*

"How fortunate for them..." *murmured Casanova.* "I confess I have sought the mythical wellspring of happiness for years and have not yet located the source." *He turned to the newly arrived young lady.* "Good day, Miss." *He took her hand and bowed over it, much as he had done for Belladonna.* "Giacomo Casanova at your service." *He straightened but did not let go of her hand.* "I say, have you been crying?" *He tugged her closer and peered with innocent concern into her reddened eyes.* "You seem very ill--I will see to it that you are tended to at once! Can you walk? Of course you can't, you're distraught!" *Casanova swept her up in his arms and left the foyer.* "Will you kindly direct me to your bedchamber, that I might see you more comfortable?"

((Crappit! Nooo!))
Perhaps your happiness is behind the pillar than! *Said Belladonna seriously*
*Belladonna turned to see the girl she had met at Alexander's swept up in Casanova's arms. He was so kind! She hurried forward, worried* What's wrong, Susanna? Did something happen?

"Yes, Miss Belladonna--if you would be so good as to accompany us. I shall need help in tending to this lady's wounds. Undoubtedly she has seen great trauma."
Two at once? First time for everything...
*Then he recalled last New Year's Eve.*
Second. Second time for everything.

*Belladonna nodded, quickly tying her hair into a low ponytail to keep it out of her face* Would you like to go to the infirmiry, Susanna?

"Nay, she must have quiet and privacy. Her bedchamber will most suffice." *said Casanova in an authoratative tone.*

"Um--" Susanna was swept up into the man's arms. "My room is that way," Susanna said, pointing in the direction of the dormitories. "But, Sir...I'm fine." Susanna smiled shyly. "I have been crying but...I'm in good health." she said softly, not wanting to upset the man. Afterall, it was very sweet of him to care.
