Frozen...heartless...
They were familiar terms, ones which the Snow Prince had often had occasion to use. He'd utilized them during his first encounter with Aideen, in fact. Perhaps, this assailant was someone he was acquainted with?
"I...don't know either."

She sighed "He was wearing this big black coat too, he was, Australian or English, I don't really know."

It was no one he knew, no one from Lapland.
"And his face? Did you see his face?"

"Blond, with a goatee, bright blue eyes, almost like yours. He was skinny and cocky and he didn't seem to quite understand the situation any more than I did."

He narrowed his eyes, briefly wondering whether he was becoming hard of hearing.
"He wasn't in control of himself? Is that what you mean?"

"He didn't know where he was, he said that this wasn't his home that he came from Nowhere or something like that. It was just really-" at that moment Aideen peered out of the corner of her eye a young girl poking her head through the tent.
"Yes? Come in."
The girl bit her lip and entered, she was wearing a tutu of sorts and stopped half way "A little closer dear."
She came up a little fast and stopped not looking Aideen in the eye "What can I do for you Miss-?"
"Tiff-Tiffany"
"What can I do for you Tiffany?"
"Can- can I ask you a question?"
"Of course" Aideen looked over at Adrien and smiled.
"Your fire, is it... real?"
Aideen giggled "What do you think?"
The girl bit her lip again, looking up at Aideen catching her eyes "I don't I- it is, isn't it?"
"Would you like it if it was?"
"OH very much so! Real magic! You know, you know it's everywhere! People who who can make it rain and snow and hail and and-" she babbled on for a moment latter before looking back down to her toes "and it would be just wonderful."
Aideen leaned down and whispered in to the little girls ear "Magic is all around us, anything you want to be real can be."
The girl squeaked with a smile and ran off.

((D'aww, so cute!))
The Snow Prince remained coldly silent throughout this entire exchange.
"It's not magic, Aideen," he reprimanded at last, as they watched the girl's retreating figure. "It's power."

(( )) "I know what it is, but she's what maybe six or seven? You tell a little girl that magic isn't real and you ruin her for the rest of her life" she looked down at her feet "I would know."

"Why would it ruin her? You're merely giving her the truth--something she has a right to know."

"A child's imagination is more important that silly things like the truth, my father-" she stopped "-a child should have the proper mixture of fact and fiction."

He furrowed his brow.
"But by presenting her with a mixture of fact and fiction, you intentionally delude her. How will she differentiate between reality and fantasy when she is older?"

"They grow out of it, but they never loose it, which allows them to come up with new ideas, new things that people who think only logically could never imagine. Such as well, here, I know you don't much like it, but it took a great imagination to be able to put something like this together."

"Who needs imagination when you can have knowledge?" he frowned.

"Knowledge and logic are two different things Adrien" she frowned along with him "you can know things and still use your imagination, you can be entirely logical and all you see is the end results, logic isn't beautiful."
She laughed "Let's talk about this later, I've got a show to put on."

"Fine," he conceded, a bit aggravated but still in the right state of mind to pull Aideen into a quick embrace and kiss the top of her head. "What is that saying you mortals have? Pull a foot? Rupture a tendon? Break an arm?"
