"Hate is such a strong word Miss Lane" Alfred chuckled "and yes Master Wayne, it was Tony Stark. Unless in my old age I'm starting to hear things."

"We don't get along, no." He said, looking up at Alfred.
"But I don't know why he'd even want to talk to me. Or what about."

"All he said was that he insisted on speaking to you and to have you call him as soon as you can, he wouldn't say anymore."

"Have you been ignoring his calls?"

"No." Bruce said defensively.
"The last time I even talked to him, he jokingly said he wanted to buy stocks in Wayne Enterprises, and I threatened to buy out Stark Industries."

He gave a short bow and started off toward the kitchen.

"Well," he said, trying to brush it off.
"He started it."

*Lois couldn't help but laugh at his childish comment. To her, it just made him that much more adorable.*
"You..." *she said slowly, taking his by the shirt and pulling him in. She still couldn't stop grinning.* "Are impossible."
*Now that Alfred was gone...*

"I don't try to be." He said with a teasing smile.
"But I'm not the only impossible one."

*Lois frowned.*
"Me or Stark? Because if you're talking about me..." *she gave him a mock-threatening look.*

He put on an innocent expression.
"Well, I could say Mr. Stark..."

*She narrowed her eyes but she couldn't keep up for more than a second.*
"So, are you going to call him or what?" *she said, sounding very amused.*

He sighed.
"Yes. Inspite of myself, I'm kind of curious as to what it is he wants to tell me. I know he wouldn't call me unless he had to."

*She nodded.*
"Do you want me to leave?"
*Her tone was ambiguous.*
