Aideen looked up as two of the cards flew in to the air, two clocks appearing on them from absolutely no where... they began to count. She looked back at the man and was about to say something, but decided against it... she didn't have time.
With a grunt she placed her hands in front of her and suddenly her whole body erupted in to flames. Flickering she let out a hollow laugh and began shooting fireballs toward the blond englishman.

A single row of cards flew in front of Luxord as the fire flew at him, incinerating the ground where he once stood. His laughing voice came from all around as he taunted her, "Choices, choices! Where is your card?" The cards began to circle Aideen.

The fireball that was Aideen spun around taking in all of the cards and started thinking about what she had read about patterns, but it wasn't helping. So she just kept shooting the cards two at a time before finally hitting the right one.

Luxord fell back, the edges of his robes singed a bit and smirked, "Obviously a cheater." Luxord motioned up to their cards and showed the five minute penalty against Aideen, "Perhaps you should be more careful to follow the rules here-on." But, Luxord inwardly cringed, I must also be more careful... her flames are nothing to scoff at.

Luxord had managed to dodge the first two fireballs with no more than a singed coat, but managed to be blown backward by the wall of flame. He grunted and disappeared into a card. He reappeared behind Aideen and swiped downward with one of his huge cards.

Aideen fell to the ground this time, the fire disappearing from her body, spinning about she shot two rings of fire toward the card that she figured had hit her. If worse came to worse she'd turn everything within a mile radius in to ash.
But she figure it wouldn't... paper burned all to well.

Luxord teleported around her again, pulling up another round of cards behind him, "Fancy another try?" The cards started as all X's, but an O began to circulate between them...

Aideen sneered "Another game eh?" She whispered and stared between the cards Come on Aideen, this is a simple thing, just hit the O she stepped back and shot off a fire ball toward the card...

The O changed at the last minute and the X card that she hit spun around a few times before enveloping Aideen. The card settled straight up to show that the image had changed to an image of her. "My you do look ravishing in paper." He chuckled and began to use his smaller cards to slice at her.

"Oh son of a bitch!" Aideen looked around the white one dimensional world she had been thrown in to and screamed banging her fists against what looked to be glass. Then she saw the small cards come flying at her and prayed that her attacks made it through.
And it seemed they could, she couldn't, but they could "A little silly don't you think?" She laughed.

Luxord came close to growling but that would have been un-gentleman-like. Instead he smirked, knowing this would only infuriate her more, "We truly could have gone without all of this. This entire fight is silly." Instead he simply grabbed a-hold of two large cards and began wielding them like swords, slicing the card that was Aideen before he knew her time would be up.

She grunted as he began to slice, she hadn't really expected it to hurt. She knew her time was running out, she'd have to do something fast. She closed her eyes, although the pain was excruciating, and burst in to flame once again, only this time, the flames were white. She knew she couldn't put everything in to the attack, but she'd do what she could to get out of there before he hurt her too deeply.
And with a thrust of her chest, she exploded.

Luxord threw his hands up to cover his face as several rows of cards flew up around him as barriers, but the blast incinerated them all, and threw him into a tree. He grunted as he hit and slid to the ground. He chanced a glance at their times and smiled, despite the pain that was ricing up his back and down his front. Their times were almost identical in that they had only a few minutes left each. He had purposefully set the timers short so neither of them would have time to do lethal damage (he thought at least). He need only hold out for a while longer...
Luxord lifted his hands and sprayed his cards all over the ground, face side up. "Time for the bonus round," he called as he slid into one.

Aideen glad to be rid of her card prison, only now saw the cards that had been sprawled on the ground with Luxord inside of one of them. Deciding not to move, she simply continued to burn in to whatever card or ground sat below her feet.
She'd be ready for his next attack, he better believe it.
