"The way you described him I can only imagine this to be true."

*Wild sighed and looked back at him.*
"It IS true. He was the most powerful opponent I have ever met. I won the fight only because the dead spirits of his victims were there, at the end fight, giving me all the strength I needed to fight him back. I tried to show him mercy when I killed him. Instead of hitting him with my Black Magic, I poured three drops of Holy water on his chest."

He stared at her amazed, it was like a science fiction novel, if he hadn't known all these things to be true he would have not believed her.
"So, if you possess this great power, why are you here? In this church, in a place where people condemn our kind for our power?"

*Wild looked up at him, trying to explain.*
"After the massacre of my village, I was wandering around in the forest, completely alone, heartbroken by the destiny of my village, and the loss of my friends and family. I was found by two humans who were out in the forest gathering wood. They brought me to the worst orphanage in Paris and left me there. The owners of the orphanage found out about my powers and forced me to use them to tend to their greed. Father Joseph was called from the police, who wanted him to take care of me, and possibly save my soul. If I have one, that is."

"Everyone has a soul, it just depends on what you believe in, whether or not it matters."
He couldn't help but sympathize with the young girl, she had been through a hard life he imagined a christian church would seem like a nice place to be. He had been to some terrible orphanages, he understood.
"Well it seems like all is well with you now, why stay?"

*Wild sighed deeply.*
"Well. I have had this feeling for a long time, that I don't belong anywhere. And it grew stronger after I told Father Joseph that I had killed The Enforcer and he stopped speaking to me. Then he left. I don't know where he is or if he ever returns, and I just feel bad about the whole thing."

"Than you have no reason to stay" he laughed "these people will never understand elves, they see our power as an abomination which it is most certainly not. But that is the christian mindset I'm afraid and your Father Joseph is a man of the cloth. You killed this man to keep others safe and to avenge your parents and village, in my mind you are a hero in theirs, you are simply a murderer."

*Wild, still feeling bad for killing The Enforcer, even if she had tried to do it with mercy, sighed deeply. She was thinking so much of Father Joseph's refusal to speak to her that she didn't notice Amras' comment about being a hero at first.*
"Yes, I have noticed. He avoided me like I was the Black Plague in person."
*Then first, she noticed his comment. A deep blushing colored her cheeks, and she looked up at him in wide-eyed wonder.*
"What did you call me?"

"A hero" he smiled "the land of shadows creates warriors unlike Lorien, you simply are what you are there is nothing to change that."
He went over to where the candles were burning and light one saying a silent prayer in elvish. To Amras a church was simply a place where the gods could watch their followers, a place of worship, not matter who your god was.

*Wild smiled. She had heard her father explain that The Land of Shadows had harder warriors because they had a rougher life. You learn to use a weapon fast when you live under a constant threat of being killed. And her mother had told her that in Lorien, life was quiet and peaceful.*
"I only did what I had to do."
*She replied quietly. She walked over to the candles as well, watching him pray. If she had a softer side, she didn't want to show it in public. Even if she didn't admit to it, at least half of the lit candles by the altar was lit by her. And her prayers had only contained one thing: That Father Joseph, where ever he was, was safe, and that nothing would harm him.*

"Of course" he nodded "of course."
He wondered silently why the girl would divulge such information to someone that she just met. But he understood that she needed to get it out and he was the first elf she'd seen in quite a long while. Birds of a feather he thought.
He looked around for a moment, making sure the coast was clear and began moving his hands in a circle, after a short moment something slowly began appearing between his palms. It was glowing a bright red light, that seemed to glitter. Soon it disappeared and an object lay awkwardly in his hand.
It was a glass rose.
"Here."

*Wild blushed and brightened up by the sight of the glass rose. It was the first time someone had given her a present in a long time.*
"It is lovely."
*She smiled as she graciously accepted the rose.*
"Diola lle. But..."
*She looked up at him, a little puzzled.*
"I don't have anything to give you in return."
((Translation: Thank you))

((*"...in a long time."))
He raised his hand "No worries, it's a gift, it's not as if we are trading." He smoothed his hair back and sighed "It's one of only things I can create, I didn't complete my training."

((Thanks, I edited. )) *Wild looked down at the glass rose and smiled warmly.* "It is no shame to be capable of creating such beautiful roses." *She said mildly.* "What kind of training have you had so far?"

"What any young elf learns in Yunsu.. farming magic" he shook his head with a chuckle and scratched his ear "I know basic earth magic, my mother taught me how to create glass roses, which if I say so myself, is strange. One shouldn't be able to create objects, that is the gods job."
