Cecilia set down her suitcase and walked over to the piano. She played a few chords just to check whether or not the piano was in tune. Hearing that it was, she looked up and smiled at Belladonna, "It's perfect."
She sat down on her piano bench and called Belladonna over, "Come, dear. Don't be shy. Right here, next to the piano."

"Alright, I'm going to start off with scales just to check how your range and tone is so I can get an idea of how to teach you." Cecilia started with the E4 chord and played the first, third and fifth note in the major and continued to do so going up the piano.

((No worries))
She listened carefully to the girls tone which was bright and clear.
Soprano, she thought to herself.
"Open your mouth a bit wider, Belladonna," She instructed. "There we go!"
She watched her take each breath, I'll need to work on breathing technique with her...
She had a good range for a first timer, two and a half octaves...
She stopped and looked at her, "You're a soprano, for sure but that might all change. Age and muscle development can change a voice dramatically. But you have 2 and a half octaves which is very impressive, young lady!" Cecilia smiled. "I'm going to teach you how to breath properly." She stood up from the piano bench and went over to her, "Alright. During the day, a person uses only about 10% of their lungs which isn't nearly enough for sing. A singer must release the abdominal muscles so the diaphram can drop, filling the lungs with as much air as possible. Any questions so far?"

((Dude, you're signature is lyk woah~ XD))
"Good. So, put your hand right there," She pointed to here she should place her hand which was two inches above the navel. "Do as I told you and relax your abdominal muscles. Now, take a breath in. If you do it properly, your hand and your stomach should move out."

((*Laughs* This is so weird! XD))
"Very good. You just might be a natural, Belladonna," Cecilia said in an encouraging tone. "Now, for a bit of homework: When we're done, I'd like for you to find a think book and place it there, on your stomach and lay on the floor. When you take a breath in, watch the book and if it rises, you know that you're doing it right. Then remember what that feels like and apply it in our next lesson."
"Oh! Almost forgot!" Cecilia walked over to her suitcase and took out a music theory workbook, "Here. I'd like you to read it and do the the problems on it. Just pages 1-5. It will teach you the basic of music theory." She handed her the book.
"Alright! That's it for today. I promise I'll give you a more thorough lesson when I have time to plan it out. I must apologize."

*takes the book and smiles, her blue eyes huge* Oh, thank you! Thank you so much! *hears a clock chime from somewhere* Oh, I'm sorry, you must excuse me. I need to go. Thank you! *She hurried out of the room*

"See you!" She waved after her.
With a sigh, she sat back down at the piano and placed her hand over the perfect white and black keys... "Let's see..." she thought.
"Ah!" She placed her hand on specific keys and started to play Chopin's Nocturne in B-flat minor...

**NEW DAY**
László had been away from the opera perhaps a bit longer than he'd have liked, and thus today found him here, wandering about. Finding the rehearsal rooms had been a bit of a stroke of luck--the mazelike back rooms of this place could be almost impossible to navigate at times, and finding anything rehearsal related that wasn't in use could be hard.
It was strange, just how freely one could wander around here, but he'd stopped questioning that and enjoyed the opportunity that he hadn't had back home...and thanks to the acoustics, it sounded better than usual. Hopefully, he didn't mangle the foreign tongue too badly--he'd only really learned it phonetically from a native speaker.
Kerran vain haaveeni nähdä sain En pienuutta alla tähtien tuntenut Kerran sain kehtooni kalterit Vankina sieltä kirjettä kirjoitan
Luojani, luoksesi anna minun tulla siksi miksi lapseni minua luulee
Sinussa maailman kauneus Josta kuolema teki minusta taiteilijan
Luojani, luoksesi anna minun tulla siksi miksi lapseni minua luulee
Oman taivaan tänne loin Anna minun päästä pois

Basini took little solace in music, or in anything these days. Brigitte did, at all of fourteen, and ostensibly he was here for her, after all. She was more sweetly disposed to him than his other sisters, and while she'd diverted herself with some other darling curly-headed companion...
It wasn't that he was too proud to ask for directions -- he was seldom too proud for anything -- but he'd been drawn deeper in out of a horrible kind of curiosity.
The sound of voices reached him... no, only one. Positively unearthly. Without any thought as to consequences, of course one had to follow it.

There was an odd kind of freedom, in just pouring out emotion in the notes of a song. It was different than singing in front of others--sometimes, he just wanted, needed, to be alone. He hadn't had this sort of outlet before, at least not easy access to it. In this isolated place, though...
He transitioned into another song, this one in his native Hungarian. So focused was he that he wouldn't notice if someone else happened by.
