((Just age old vampire debates. Don't mind us. Sorry to pollute your thread.))

"Why should Erik do any such thing?" *he asked, choosing to ignore the vampire bit. He had enough going on without that.*

*She glowered at him.*
"Because if you don't, I'll be forced to hurt you."
*She said coolly, snarling and letting her fangs glint menacingly. She was going to get out of here, no matter how many "ghosts" she had to terrorize. The smell of his blood was somewhat faint, so she had no problems controlling herself in such close proximity to him.*

*Erik rolled his fiery eyes.*
"You... will be forced to hurt me?"
*He chuckled darkly.*
"It is an intriguing thought, to be sure. Let us compromise--you will go, and I will not kill you."

*She raised one eyebrow.*
"They're real, the fangs. One bite and I could have you writhing on the floor in pain. Or if I wanted to break your arm, it would be done. I'm not even trying to fight you off at this point, but I could easily throw you against that cave wall should the fancy strike me. Now give me something to prove I was here, and I'll leave."

"You must be a person of little character, to require more than your word for such a thing. Is it such a prize, then, to brave Erik's domain?"
*That made him feel a little better.*

**MICAELA CAUSE IM WAY TO LAZY TO LOG IN**
*She rolled her eyes.*
"It's not the fact that nobody will believe me, it's the principle of the thing. And no, it's not a prize. Well, I mean, for a ballet rat or chorus girl or some such person it would be. Getting down here without night vision and smell would be hell, and I would still be back in the first cellar, impaled on something sharp. So I guess so. Maybe... oh god, now I've gone and confused myself." *She did that quite a lot. Now wasn't a good time for it.*
*She scowled. Men were incredibly reliant on their egos.*

*She seemed like a very confused young person. It seemed a shame to kill someone so clueless.*
"If it is not a prize, then why do you require it? Erik does not understand; and his patience wears thin."

*She thought for a moment, trying to clear her thoughts, easily pushing Erik off of her to go pace.*
"If I were human, it would have been a prize, and, when I was a human, I wanted nothing better than to prove I had been down here." *She nodded at her explanation, and then looked him in the eye again.* "Sometimes I talk and talk and my words get mixed up, and then I have to go back and make sure they make sense. It's somewhat inconvenient... even if I'm no longer clumsy apparently vampirism does nothing for the mindset."

*He was amazed at her strength--she'd barely seemed to feel it as she dislodged herself from his grasp. He rolled his eyes.*
"Then what do you want with Erik?"
*He had no sympathy for her problem. Erik never had trouble with his words or thoughts getting tangled.*

**MICAELA**
*Micaela stopped.*
"You know I'm not quite sure anymore."
*She furrowed her brow.* "I think I just want something to prove I was here and then to leave. It's not like I'll tell anyone where you live... I have a better character than you gave me credit for."

*Erik rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically.*
"It seems Erik cannot keep you people away without electrifying the Lake. Strangely, none of you belongs to a mob or has tried to kill Erik. His mercy has been getting quite the workout. Very well--you may go. But be warned, Erik will be fortifying his defenses if you attempt to lead anyone back here."
*He looked around for "proof."*
"Here."
*He reached his hand out, palm up, to display the reward: a snowglobe with a tiny city and a sigh that read St. Petersburg, FL.*

**MICAELA**
*She snorted.*
"Of course I wouldn't actually try to kill you. This opera house would have gone out of business years ago without you. And why I would lead anyone down here is beyond me, you're not as exciting as they make you out to be."
*She took the snowglobe and looked at it for a second, her eyes recognizing something.*
"St. Petersburg? My grandmother lives half an hour away, and I spent a lot of my childhood in the art museum. Have you been there?" *She asked, looking back up at him.*
((no seriously. I could get myself around that place blindfolded.))

((Haha. I started out using Russia, then once I wrote St. Pete I decided this would be funnier.))
"What kind of child lives in a museum? Nevermind."
*He turned away, only to swing back, his cloak arcing dramatically in his wake.*
"And Erik is so exciting! How dare you say it!"

*She smiled laughingly at him.*
"I didn't live there, my grandmother was a docent. I followed her around because I liked the art."
*She raised one eyebrow at him.*
"And I never said you were unexciting. I just mean that you don't have three heads, nor do you delight in burning people at the stake. I assume, since you haven't burned me yet. That seems to be the impression that a few ballet rats have."
