Peter looked up at Tink. "which way?" Tink flew off to their right for a few feet and darted back. Peter nodded. "we came from that way."

"Good," *Shadi nodded.* "Then I think it's over there." *She pointed at an angle she remembered seeing a dark figure in a boat take, on one of her excursions down here. Assuming River would say something if she thought otherwise, she started paddling diligently towards the far shore.*

*River followed Shadi and stared over her shoulder to Peter.*
"You have a knife? Have it ready."
((Shadi, you also play Erik, right?))

Peter nodded and patted his knife reasuringly with a happy glint in his eye. Peter dove back under the water and followed Shadi.

*Shadi made sure her own knife was still in its sheath on her leg, and struck out. As she pulled herself out onto the shore, she shivered suddenly.*
Just cold down here, *she told herself.* Ain't scared.
((Yes. I do.))

Peter followed Shadi up onto the shore. he ran his hand through his hair before shaking some of the water off himself. Peter jumped onto a rock. "which way now?" Peter's voice could barely contain his excitment.

*The alarm sang out and Erik grumbled to himself. He had enough trouble these days without having to deal with some other pleasure-boating fool. He went outside and scanned the dark surface of the lake, but there were no boats. He'd just been about to eat some cheese. Best to finish, first. He went back inside.*

Tink flew over to Peter and motioned to the dark form as he walked out. Peter ducked behind the rock he stood on and watched as he scanned the lake. when he went back inside Peter slowly stood a grin spreading across his face, this was going to be a great adventure.

*Shadi looked at her two/three companions, and shrugged. What next? Were they actually going to get into the house? And what happened when they got there?*
((Um... anyone have any thoughts about this? You can PM Shadi or Erik. WWED?))

*River climbed up a rock and stared at the house up ahead. Both fear and excitement where running through her veins, along with a nice dose of adrenaline and as she sensed Shadiás thoughts, she wondered the same.*
"Should we go closer?"
*River whispered?*

Peter pulled out his knife and floated over to river. "of course," Peter whispered back. "I want a better look at this guy."

"It's so weird," *Shadi whispered.* "I can't believe he lives down here." *She drew her knife too, and looked at the other two. She jerked her head towards the entrance.* "We just... going on? Or should we lure him out?"

*Someone was definitely outside. Erik could hear water moving now, the brief flash of a too-loud whisper. He hadn't constructed his home for nothing, after all; he knew all that went on outside its walls. He strode to the door and slammed it open.*
WHO DARES DISTURB ERIK'S DOMAIN! *he roared.*

*Apparently the Ghost didn't need no luring out. As he appeared in the doorway River shuddered and jumped back as if she was being hit, thus causing some rocks to fall down into the lake.*
Oh, oh, in for trouble.

*Shadi grasped River's hand, not knowing whether she did to to steady herself or the other girl. The man had a VOICE. It was loud and horrible. She almost wanted to jump back into the lake and swim as fast as she could; but she knew he could swim faster.
Maybe this hadn't been such a great idea.*
