"I can't think of anything," *He said, embarassed.* "I never had much time to tour Paris while in the ballet corps. The only places I can think of that I've heard about are disreputable.
I won't mind if we go back to the cellars."

*Erik raised an eyebrow and made a 'tsk'ing sound.*
"You cannot trust those girls," *he said primly.* "They will steer you nowhere but wrong."
*Truthfully, he wanted to go back to the cellars; he was safe there, and he was still not entirely used to moving about in public. Even if "public" meant the abandoned roof of the Opera.*
"We can see Paris another day. Perhaps when we can actually see it."
*He held out his hand for Christian.*

*He laughed lightly, taking Erik's hand* "They're horrible gossips! I couldn't believe what some of them would talk about. And yes, Paris in the day might be less dangerous. "

Oh, my pretty boy, you have no idea what danger is.
*Erik smiled to himself and led Christian down once more to the dungeon of his black despair...*

*AFTER ERIK AND HIS BOY-TOY HAVE LEFT*
*Mina stepped onto the roof and observed the city streets from up high. It didn't look like the sort of place that would be infested with enemies of humanity, but looks were often decieving. And it was nice to be able to be on a roof without somebody crashing through it every five seconds.*

*Julian had gone to the roof to survey the city. He loved his Mother's house, but also longed to know more of what lay outside. And then there was a woman with him. That was strange. She was unattended. But not for long. He slipped up silently behind her, his breath warm against her ear.*
"Good evening, my lady. Does the night...find you well?"

*Mina instantly turned around. She found herself standing by a handsome but disreputable-looking young man. She surpressed the urge to show her surprise*
"It finds me quite well, sir. Paris is enchanting."

"Enchanting..."
*Julian's voice echoed hauntingly on the wind.*
"Indeed it is."
*His eyes wandered over her.*
"It offers so much to the one merely willing to take it."
*A cruel smile twisted the corner of his lips.*
"Are you such a person? A...taker?"

*Mina wondered why weirdos always seemed to gravitate toward her*
"Opportunities. Not people."

((Because you're hot, that's why.))
*Julian's smile widened.*
"And what opportunities are you hoping to come upon here...all alone?"

*Mina closed her fan with a sharp snap*
"Obviousley something other than what you have in mind."

*Julian's cold laugh danced over his lips.*
"Madame...are you so certain you know what I have in mind? Are you clairvoyant?"
