It was night, but it wasnt pitchblack. The Opera house bathed in a shower of starlight. On one of the top roof balconies stood James, dressed in simple black jeans and a black tshirt, and his trusty companion Fang besides him. From his belt dangled his rapier, a dagger and a handbow, along with 10 arrows.
"This place is just the same as any city." He muttered to himself, gazing over the rooptops of Paris. "And stil, I feel remarkably...happy." He sighed and raised his head to the moon, closing his eyes and enjoying the coolness of the night.

*Faline strolled up and saw someone standing there in black* *She quietly walked up to him and tapped him on his shoulder. He turned round and looked at her* "Oh hi... sorry to disturb or erhm interrupt you... I'm Faline..." *She curtsied and gave the man a remarkebly seductive smile*

James turned around, his hand reaching for his dagger almost instantly. When you're living as a bounty hunter, you can expect someone with a knive standing behind you any second. But to his suprise it wasnt some cold blooded killer, but a girl with a smile on her face.
"Hello there." He greeted in return, lowering his dagger arm again. Besides him, Fang growled agiated. "its ok, calm down my friend." James said in a hushing tone, petting the timberwolf over its furry head.
He turned back to Faline. "How did you get up here?" he asked her, because he was certain he didnt spot any form of stairs or hatches on the roof he and the girl were standing on.

"Oh, I have my ways" *She looked at the wolf and held out her hand to pet it. Instinctively she withdraw her hand as soon as she saw the fangs* "Does he bite...?" *SHe looked into the man's darkbrown eyes and suddenly felt the longing urge to kiss him* He's the most handsome man I've ever laid eyes on... but I fear nothing could come of it. Who would notice me... *She supressed a small sob and looked back into his eyes*

James laughty softly, a sound that more sounded like a nightsound then an emotion. "he wont bite you, as long as you dont attempt to attack me." he said to her, rubbing the wolf behind his ears. Fang waggled his tail, and walked over to Faline. He softly sniffed her hand with his wet nose, before licking it gently.
"I think he likes you." James commented, smiling and looking back to the young girl, his eyes crossing hers again. He noticed the glimmer of grief her eyes. Whats wrong with her? he thought to himself. What could make a pretty girl like her so sad?

*She giggled and stroked the dog* "So what is it you're doing up here? Better still... what are you doing here at the Opera House with you wolf?" *She smiled at him and saw something in his eyes. Something she couldn't quite explain. She decided to dismiss it* *She fell to her knees and started to stroke the dog, whose tail kept wagging and wagging*

"Well, nothing really." James said. "I was just exploring Paris a bit and I ended up here."
Fang barked enthousiastic and licked Faline's face, pushing her over by putting his front paws on her chest.
James laughed softly and kneeled down next to her, offering her his hand. "Im sorry, Fang gets a bit carried away sometimes."

Gabrielle emerged out on the roof, not paying much attention to who was already out there. Her black cloak swirling around her body, she certainly looked like an undead.

*lands on the roof, her form shrouded in a black dress, black cape, and pointy black hat. She gracefully pulls a broom out from under her and stands still, staring at the other occupants of the roof, as her black hair blows about behind her in the wind*

*Faline smiled and giggled* "Thanks, he's quite sweet I suppose when you get to know him..." *She let James pick her up and wiped some dirt of fher black silk dress* *She realized she was still wearing her nightgown* Oh no, he must think I am a right fool!! *She started to blush and realized it was freezing up here on the roof* "Why don't we go inside? It's getting a bit chlilly here..." *She already turned and headed back to the door, noticed a girl in a black cloak, but didn't think to pay any attention to her*

James smiled, gazing over the girl's clothes for a brief moment. "Yes, maybe it would be better if we head indoors." He smiled, and it grew to a smirk when he saw Faline ignore Elphaba. "You lead the way dear, I dont know this building to well." he walked after her, Fang following in his wake.

((pfft, oh thanks. freaky vampire WILL find you >:K))
Gabrielle climbed higher up the roof, not minding that her powers were obvious to anyone that was watching, she needed to feel immortal. reaching the upper pinacle of the roof, she stood on the crest, the wind whiping around her face and pulling her cloak out behind her like two great black wings ((oo! Kay!phantom!)).
