"She's so young" he furrowed his brow and prayed silently for her as she walked down the carpet to the cathedral. Seeing the crowd starting to move in after Sarah, László grabbed John's arm and started pulling him after. "C'mon, if we move fast enough we could get a seat inside."

((Why the hell not, let's dump in all the characters in London that can conceivably be here xD)) Michelle had been very busy in London. Slowly, she'd established herself as a monster hunter for hire, building up a reputation for quick, clean, discreet kills and fast resolutions. Talk in the underground hunter scene had built up, and she was now known very well in supernatural and occult circles as a woman who got shit done, didn't suffer fools, and was some kind of protector of the innocent. It was one hell of a turnaround from the view of her back home, the old Michelle that regular people were afraid of, the one who was only in it for the money and didn't give a crap about anybody but herself. She'd like to think that her brother would be proud of her. Since this seemed to be the big subject du jour at the moment, Michelle had decided to drop by the cathedral to see what's what. Where she was from, corporations ruled, and the closest thing to a king or queen was a CEO. She wasn't part of the crowd, not exactly--while she was watching the proceedings, Michelle was doing it from a hidden position on top of a nearby office building. The new queen had featured quite prominently in a strange dream she'd had, and Michelle was still trying to figure out what it could all mean. Her interpretation so far was that the queen might soon be in some kind of danger, and thus why she was currently here acting like a scout. If trouble erupted, she'd be here to deal with it. So far, she hadn't seen anything or anyone that was suspicious, but she was making it a point to keep a lookout for the man in the dream. He might not be real, but then, the queen certainly was. Michelle wasn't going to take any chances. ((In any case, need to continue that plot thread the dream started ))

Finally, she reached where the priest was standing--actually, a bishop, since it was such a big deal. Feeling like there were a million eyes on her, she waited patiently while people shuffled in. At least she was near Jay, who she'd barely seen ever since preparations had started. Having him close was reassuring, and she took a deep breath and slowly let it out again.
Once there wasn't any more room for folks to come in, and people were finally seated, the bishop began--in latin. While Sarah had no idea just what exactly he was saying, she'd been given a translation to read earlier so that she had some kind of understanding of it in advance. Thankfully, the responses she had to give she could say in English. She didn't want to have to butcher latin in front of thousands of people.
She started to smile wider when it hit her that this was kind of like a marriage ceremony, or it reminded her of one. She supposed you could see that way, as marrying the country, perhaps. A lot of what she'd read in the translation kind of made it sound that way, and the crown, she mused, could be like a ring. The bishop had reached the part where she had to speak, and she snapped her attention back to him.
Don't stutter.
"I do solemnly swear to uphold the laws of the land, and to protect the people of England. To always act in their best interests."
There was a little bit left for the bishop to say, and then...well.
Her eyes went right back to the crown on the pillow.
She would do diplomacy-type things, certainly, good-will visits and speeches, but all of the actual governing fell to the Prime Minister and the Houses. Maybe they'd ask for her opinion on a new law, but it would just be a courtesy thing. At least, that's what she could recall of what she'd read about English government in the news.

"She's so young" he furrowed his brow and prayed silently for her as she walked down the carpet to the cathedral. Seeing the crowd starting to move in after Sarah, László grabbed John's arm and started pulling him after. "C'mon, if we move fast enough we could get a seat inside." John quickly grabbed Maries hand as Laszlo pulled them along. It was all so fantastic.

The priest finally reached the end of the Latin litany.
"...and so I now dub thee Queen Sarah of England."
Sarah bowed her head, and a moment later, felt the weight of the crown on it. Feeling a sense of complete unreality, she straightened up and turned toward the crowd. Their applause made her ears ring. She glanced at Jay out of the corner of her eye, wondering what he was thinking.

Tasha had, somehow, made it in here. But now her task was even harder, because now Sarah was crowned. She barely heard the applause as the she watched the new Queen take Gatsby's hand.
How will I reach her now?

Michelle sat back in her place up in the church rafters, far above the heads of the audience below. Well. That had gone smoothly, with no suspicious characters showing up to crash the party. Still, Michelle had a feeling that she hadn't seen the last of the man in the dream. She'd have to go back to her work space and think more on the situation. Until she could learn more, she'd have to find a way to contact the Queen and at least let her in on what was going on. Michelle waited patiently for the church to clear out. Something could happen at the last second. One never knew .

Well, this was definitely another new experience for László, but in this instance he was pretty sure that he wasn't the only one in the crowd that felt that way.
"I'm glad we decided to go on vacation when we did. We would've missed this."

Smiling at Jay, she reached out to take his hand so that they both would walk outside together. That was one thing that she'd absolutely insisted on--she didn't want him left out or shoved to the side just because he wasn't technically royalty...yet. It'd be silly to not include him when eventually he'd be Prince Consort. Because it was the only thing she'd demanded, her assistants had relented.
Keeping her voice as low as possible, so that only Jay could hear it, Sarah said: "How are you?"

"I thought I was gonna faint," she confided, trying not to laugh at herself.
"But I knew I couldn't freak out. Definitely not this time."
