((Continuing on from here.)) Megan pulled her phone out of her pocket and glanced at her phone as she crossed Central Park West. It was edging into the warm part of the year, though not so much so that she was miserable in the heat already, but it was impossible to gauge how long it'd take her to get to Bethesda Fountain from here. It wound up taking about fifteen minutes for her to walk there, holding her hat on against the light early-summer breeze. "I feel like I should be wearing a trench coat with the collar turned up and carrying a briefcase," she said with a small laugh as she crossed to where the rather unmistakable- ironically, she felt, but anyway- Clark Kent was waiting.

Clark smiled wide "Too CIA, unless of course you are CIA, than everything I've ever said was a lie."

"These days, I swear I might as well be," she said, a little more darkly this time. "Anyway, hi."
She glanced him over for just a moment, wondering if there really was a huge difference between him now and him in the suit.

He chuckled "Hey."
Clark worried for Megan, not only as a comrade but as a person, it was just in his nature.
"How have you been?" It was a loaded question for anyone these days, but he had to ask it.

"Could be worse," she said, with a more brittle laugh. "Could be better too, though."

"At the risk of being too me, is there anything I can do to help?"

She shook her head wistfully.
"I don't think so, but thanks for asking."

He looked down at his hands and then stuffed them in coat "No problem, I-" he laughed a little softly and looked up "might as well get the uncomfortable question out of the way first, you haven't heard any news about Lois Lane lately have you?"

"I'm not in the newspaper business anymore, I'm afraid," she admitted.

"I know" he replied softly "Perry gave me my job back, he was under the impression I was stuck in Russia" he laughed but the frown on his face showed no amusement.
He exhaled and pushed his hair back, a small curl falling on to his forehead. He quickly twirled it back up in to his hair "Oh uh" he made the universal sign of hold on a moment and went over to bench he'd been waiting at and picked up a dual cup carrier "you still do iced coffee?"

"You have multiple ways of living up to the name, don't you?" she said wryly. "Thanks."

He chuckled and handed her the cup "It's pretty pretentious but it's the one that stuck."
Pulling his own coffee out, he threw the cup carrier in a recycling container.

"I know how that is," she said, taking hers and sipping. "God forbid I ever get my own villains. What'll they call themselves? Granny and the Big Bad Wolf?"

"Still more creative than the Prankster" he laughed and took a drink. There was a pause before he turned his face to the sun "I should have never left."

"I haven't worn my costume since last year," she reminded him. "And I mean... you shouldn't feel that responsible. Trying to carry the whole world on your shoulders, it's..."
She shrugged noncommittally.
"I mean, it can't be good for anybody."
