*Beatrice sighed, rolling her eyes again. Men were all the same. Wanted to think they were so important, that they knew better than she did. Well she didn't have to put up with it. She stood, looking down on him disdainfully.*
"Aye, but that reason may have not the merit that he might wish of me to think it. How be it that you manage to to earn the wrath of all of Hell? I dare not to think that it might be for love alone. Such a trivial thing could not be of such concern."

"That's what I thought too. But apparently They have a different opinion."
*Sebastian took another gulp of water.*
"It is an unwritten rule, which may never be broken. And I broke it. I, the loyal servant to Their plans."

*Beatrice tilted her head and gave a short laugh in disbelief.*
"Ah! So you be a demon that took a mortal lover, eh? Forgive me, sir. I am too well read to be moved by such fables."

*Sebastian laughed too, though it was more of a bitter laugh.*
"If only I had fallen in love with a mortal, they would have just killed me then. No, milady, what I did was worse."
*His face turned even more paler and an unnatural gleam took a hold of his eyes.*
"I fell in love with a faerie. A force of good."

*Beatrice arched her brow. Surely this man was not....normal, but what did he expect her to believe. He must be deranged. Probably from the loss of creepy black blood. She sighed, sitting back to listen to the whole story.*
"That be even better. Prithee, speak the lot of it."

"You do not believe me."
*It was an statement, not a question.*
"You don't have to. Just like you don't have to stay with me."
*The itching sensation on his back had stopped and Sebastian relaxed his tenses muscles. Slowly he felt his old powers return to him.*
"Before you go would you be so kind as to take these bandages off of my back?"

*Beatrice arched a disbelieving brow.*
"Off? But I have just finished the thing of placing them. Mayhaps you should leave them be a while longer."

"That won't be necessary, I believe that I have healed quite perfectly. I wouldn't know for sure until you remove the bandages for me."
*Sebastian sat up and tried to remove them himself, but he could not quite reach them with this hands.*

*Beatrice rolled her eyes.*
"So be it. But I'll not have it for you spoiling the dressing..."
*She moved to begin undressing the wounds once more, trying to decide if he was really crazy or just a jerk.*

*Sebastian closed his eyes again and inhaled deeply.*
"I won't. You can throw away those bandages, by the way. Demon blood does not wash off easily."

*Beatrice laughed scoffingly. Until she saw the healed back beneath the bandages. She fell back on the floor, scuffling back a few feet.*
"You're...you're..."

"Exactly what I told you I was. But you did not listen, Beatrice."
*A cruel smile played around his lips for a moment, but then Sebastian turned his eyes away from Beatrice and sighed.*
"You can run away screaming now, I won't stop you."
*Sebastian was convinced that she would go and then he would be left alone with his memories.*

((Well...you're not wrong.))
*Beatrice didn't run screaming, but she did make a hasty retreat, abadoning her linens. She had to get out, to get somewhere safer. Somewhere with more light and fresh air and no demons or whatever he was...*

(( Of course I'm not. ;D )) *Sebastian scolded at himself when the woman had left. Why had he done that? He could have just thanked her and told her to leave? But no, he had to scare her. Transfer some of his misery to her.* And why shouldn't I? I am a demon after all. I am evil. Pure evil .... at least I was.*Sebastian got up and decided to follow Beatrice. Why? Who knew.*
