((I need to get my hands on that book, since my knowledge of Verger is almost zero. Also Dracula: DAMN YOU GARY OLDMAN! I CAN MANAGE TO BE PERVY ON MY OWN WITHOUT YOU GIVING ME A BAD REP!))
*Dracula suddenly looked even more dangerous then ever.*
"Now where did you and Holmes learned about Margot?"

((All I know about her is what I got from Wikipedia.))
"What does that matter? I'd have thought you would be proud of it. Shout your perversity from the top of your castle, to strike fear into your enemies!"
*Irene met his gaze, unflinching*
"You are a monster. And I will never love you."

((I have no idea how to fit the while Verger story into Drac's background. ;D I think I am going to stick to the he was under drugs and decided to live like a human for some decades because this other vampire told him it would be fun story and have Margot not really be his sister. Or something like that. Otherwise Margot would have to be either the daughter of Satan or Khan or both, in either case she would have killed Drac for even looking at her.... I'm rambling. Sorry. I'll go back to crazy and sexy rapist mode now.))
*Dracula looked away.*
There's only one person who knew....[dramatic pause] .... Hannibal.
"You don't have to."
*Dracula said, though it pained him, as he looked back at Irene. Passion now mixing with scorn in his eyes.*
"I still want you. Come back to me or I'll kill mister Holmes."

((I like that explanation. It means I don't have to read the book. ))
*For a moment, she did nothing. Then Irene slowly shook her head*
"He risked his life to save me. I know that he wouldn't want me to make his sacrifice maningless."
*She stared at him with pure hatred in her eyes*
"You haven't managed to kill him yet. He's smarter than you. And you will not defeat him."

((Same here.))
"Perhaps."
*Dracula stepped closer to Irene.*
"He would expect for me to kill him. He could find out things about vampires, things that are useful."
*He grinned.*
"But I don't have to be the one to kill him. I have many servants, some who seem so innocent that even a man like Holmes wouldn't see through their disguises."
"His sacrifice will be meaningless in the end, Irene. Just like the sacrifice that your husband made. Because I will have you."

*Irene looked him straight in the eye*
"You say you love me. If that were true, you wouldn't hurt me like this."

"If you'd love me back, then I wouldn't hurt you at all."
*Dracula grabbed Irene's hand in which she held the scissors.*
"I'd be as gentle as a lamb."
((I can't believe I just used that line.))

*Irene struggled to get free of his grip, but he was too strong. His lack of reflection was showing in her mirror, and the overall effect very nearly made her sick*
"You know I can't."

"Yes, I do."
*He looked almost pained as he took the scissor from Irene and threw them across the room. Dracula pulled Irene closer and kissed her softly, almost tenderly.*

*Irene pulled away from him and spat in his face*
((Lauren Bacall actually does that in a movie. I love her!))

((She's hardcore, seriously. )) *Dracula wiped his face clean and did move for a moment, he just stared into the mirror that did not show his reflection. Then he hit Irene hard, across the face. He threw her on the bed and ripped of her clothing, while a mix of love, hate and passion made his eyes gleam madly.* ***FADE OUT***

*FADE IN*
*Irene lay beneath him, her entire body shivering.*
"This is a dream...we both know this isn't real..."

*Dracula rolled to his side and pressed his forehead to Irene's shoulder.*
"It feels real. The things we say are real. But what is real? Aren't vampires considered to be unreal? Fictional? Yet here I am. Reality means nothing to me."

((Francis: That's my wife! Good job! Every other man watching this: Ouch *look away*))
*Dracula groaned in pain, but recovered quickly.*
"That's not very nice."
*He groaned as he looked up at her and put his hand around her neck. He applied little force, but enough to make her squirm.*
