Lucy sounding sage wasn't a very common occurrence.

Music started up behind them--a Can Can number.
"Oopes, pardon me, must go out there."
Leaping to her feet, she joined them, though hers was a much more subdued version of it since she wasn't exactly in the right dress for it.
