She glanced back at him, her face even paler than usual.
"Dragons...they're legendary. Moreso than vampires and such. Dragons are like...almost godlike, when you think about it. I'm not godlike."

At least she hadn't turned into Catwoman and would be forced to face down one of her own characters.
She giggled at her own thoughts.

Jay's first reaponse was to pull Sarah behind him, again forgetting that if it were a situation where they needed to fight, Sarah would be a better choice than him.
But he did it anyway.

Of course, her response was to maneuver herself in front of him--but the problem, as it turned out, was that the disturbance was all around them. She narrowed her eyes.
"I think it's magical in nature."

Her skin was tingling, but there was also a horrible sharp pain in her, like something was trying to rip a part of her out.
