She smiled.
"I used to live in Paris. I grew up in the 1st Arrondissement." She said.
"After mom died, dad and I moved out here. Rudolf had it before and wasn't using it anymore since he moved. It's funny, when I first moved in, some of the other people who lived out here kept joking about it--apparently the house changed hands a lot."
((Ah, 'verse chars recounting 'verse history. Before Rudolf, there was Emily, but I almost want to invent a line of owners for the heck of it.))

((Haha, might as well.))
"It's a nice cottage that's for sure, I'd die to live in the country."

"Maybe you can stay over sometime. Er."
Suddenly, she realized she had no idea what the rules for a private school were.
"Um. If you can, that is."

"We get time off for the holidays, November through December" she smiled.

"Oh, but, isn't that to spend time with your family? I wouldn't want to take away from that."

"Two months? I can take a couple days away from that to come see you."

"Well...tell me if I've got this wrong: in a school like yours, you live there all year until you get those breaks, right? So that means you don't see family for almost a whole year. I figure you'd want those whole two months to catch up with everyone."

She smiled "I would, and I miss them all the time, but, I spent every day of my life with my father, I was home schooled. The only reason I'm even going to the school is because is because he saved every extra penny to send me, and honestly" she sighed softly "it's only really enough to get me through two years of it."

"Well, I could--"
She stopped. They hadn't known each other that long for her to offer something like that, and anyway, she didn't know how they felt about receiving charity for themselves.
"Um." She said awkwardly.
It was always awkward when she thought of the money that was hers thanks to who her brother was--technically speaking, because of his position, she was a Duchess or something. She wasn't really clear on the details. All she knew was that she'd never called on it because she didn't know how and rarely thought about it.

Marie was a smart girl, she knew what Treszka was getting at and smiled softly "Hey, don't worry about me, we'll figure something out, we always do. If I can't finish school, then I'll just go to a more public institution or finish on my own."
She kept smiling "But thank you for the offer, it's right nice of you."

"Well, I...I just. I have more than I need and I'd rather it got to people who do need it." She said quietly, feeling her face redden.
"It doesn't look it, but, uh, I'm...titled."

She grinned "Don't, guilt is the worst thing someone can feel, and obviously you want to help, you aren't uh, what's the word? Squandering it? Yes, that's it, your doin good, and buying obviously" she pointed to the comic books "awesome things."

Treszka laughed.
"I dunno what else to do with it! I wouldn't get a great big house 'cuz I don't need one, and I don't have cars because, pfft, I can teleport!"
