"I know" he said and pointed to his temple "we aren't the only ones that possess the ability to travel through time and dimensions Logan, some of these people they've been- ripped from their times and thrown here, and expected to survive. Weather it's just some time of naturally occurring temporal interference or something more sinister, it's been happening for years. So much so, that there are more of these people then there are residents."

Wolverine nodded, that was definitely what he'd been picking up on as well. Hell, he barely had any idea of how he had ended up here in the first place... but to him something like that was so commonplace that he'd just dismissed it as a drink too much and a ferry too soon type of thing.
"Yeah... but like yah say... that's been goin' on fer years. Dis... dis is somethin' new. Somethin' dark. People are scared, Chuck... and the crazy thing is, nobody seems to know what of."

"Yes" Charles nodded sadly "there's a storm brewing Logan, I just hope that we've got our windows secure."

((When Erik returns, will he have fully de-aged by that point or is he still in the process?))
"I won't" Charles went back to the fridge and grabbed another beer "I think however I might return to my office, I've got some things I need finished."

((Still in the process, it's going reasonably slowly at first, but will then suddenly really take hold overnight.))
"Ya want some company with that?"
He didn't like the idea of the prof sitting around alone, drinking... waiting for him.

((Okay))
"You'll be asleep before you know it, it's all paperwork and charts" he waved his hand "I'll be fine."

"Well, then at least you'll cure my insomnia." Logan grabbed another beer himself.
The Wolverine, once attached, is very difficult to shake off.

"Well if you insist" he laughed and started heading toward his office "I never did ask you how you were."

"That's 'cause you know how I am and I don't tend to change much," Logan replied with a laugh as he followed the other man.
"Different place, same Logan."

"It's still nice to check however."
It wasn't long before they'd entered his office, high ceilings and paperwork strewn about. There was a book about Paris sitting on his desk opened up and being projected on to the wall.

"You do know we're in Paris, right?" Logan chuckled as he moved some paperwork to sprawl on a leather sofa that had been previously used as a storage space.
"If ya wanna see it, ya could go out."

Charles laughed "As odd as this place is, my wheelchair still confuses many. I'd have to switch in to a more suitable one" he pointed to a stack of books sitting on top of a very 60's looking wheelchair "and this ones much more comfortable."
He readjusted the setting on the projector "But that's not what I'm looking at" he pointed to a picture with a series of tubes "this is the Parisian sewer system, over the past, I'd say twenty to thirty years, the system has changed exponentially, growing larger, then smaller, then larger again, with no permits or anyone even really knowing about it. It's not that big of a deal, until you put it next to a graph of the people who have come here from other timelines. It changes overnight, just as the people do."
He shrugged "But it's the same with the city, buildings get larger, and then disappear at random, just like the people. I thought it was just a coincidence at first, but it seems the city, is one living organism, adjusting to change like say bacteria or a virus."
