Teja was eager for the distraction and dove her hand into her pocket, turning away so that she could check it.
It was only Megan. She didn't know how to respond, and she was plunged into a new despair: she had no idea how to broach this subject, and knew Megan would never let either of them live it down if she knew.
(Though it was possible Thor had told her. If so, she wasn't sure if she was hurt that Megan hadn't told her or relieved.)
Which meant she had no idea what to do. She weakly slipped the phone back in her pocket.
