Lynette couldn't help but smile at Jess's reply. "I realize that you pose no threat. It's just that this is the first time I'm really out on my own. "

"I've been on my own for five years" Jess sighed "It's fun at first, but you get homesick, even if your home is right down the street" she looked up at Lynette "You know, you are far too pretty to be designing costumes."

"Oh...well, thank you." said Lynette taken aback by the sudden compliment.
Blushing profusely, she was unaware that she had made a couple dresses float in midair until one flew by her. "Oh God..." she murmured, horror struck , and the dresses fell to the floor.

Jess's eyes widened as the dresses fell to the floor "That-" then abruptly a smile came to her face "-was AMAZING!"

"...It was?" she whispered, terrified of what Jess would do now that she knew of her abilities.

**AS JESS**
"No really!" she jumped up and looked at the girl "There are plenty of people here with special abilities, so don't feel alone." Jess was almost giddy "I can tell the future, well not entirely, I get feelings and I know when something is going to happen" Jess beamed "Can you do it again?"

Lynette felt better knowing that she wasn't as different from other people as she had first thought. "I suppose I could." she said with a bit more confidence. One of the dresses rose up from the floor, flew over to a large mirror across the room and began making poses. Lynette couldn't help but let out a small giggle.

"That's wicked cool" Jess laughed and began imitating the dress right next to it. "Here let me show you what I can do" Jess ran over to the girl and looked in to her eyes "You'll meet that man again, and his name was Phillipe!" she laughed "I know it's not much of a fortune, but at least you get to meet the cutie again!"

"Really? That's fascinating." Lynette said, intrigued. "What's your name? I don't think you told me."

"Jess, just Jess, I haven't had a last name in five years" she smiled and extended her hand.

Lynette stared at Jess's hand, not really sure what she was supposed to do with it. "My name is Lynette." she said, still unsure about revealing her last time. "It is very nice to meet you, Jess." she added smiling.

Jess giggled "Honey you grab my hand" Jess took hold of Lynette and nodded "then you do this" she proceeded to shake it timidly "It's a greeting back where I come from."

Lynette blushed, a little embarrassed. "Oh...alright." she said as she shook Jess's hand lightly.

**AS JESS**
"Don't be embarrassed darlin', imagine how I felt when I first when to Italy, I couldn't believe it, people were kissing me left and right, it was mighty strange."

*LYNETTE*
Lynette laughed a little. She had seen her parents kiss their friends before they had gone out to dinner parties, so that idea was not as new to her. Until now, though, handshaking had eluded her.
