*He was serious. Brandi swallowed cautiously. His touch was...uncomfortable. But also sickeningly familiar. It unnerved her. What did it mean? If they had been together...what did that mean? How did that work into her being a real person? How could that even happen outside the 'Verse? It seemed so long ago since she had dealt with that Other World. There had been this place and Cry-Baby and Death and War and Raziel and... She swooned as the potentials overwhelmed her. She had forgotten to breathe and her knees gave.*

*Dracula caught her deftly, sweeping her into his arms with ease. There was a comforting weight to her, the memory of the thing all the more real with every passing moment. He could almost feel her arms around his neck, her playful kisses and whispers of wanton promises lingering in his ear. He tried to push them away. But there was the smell of her skin and her hair, the blood that coursed through her and she was so vulnerable...*
"There now. I have you." *He whispered softly. With all his desires piling on one another, there were only so many he could resist at one time.*

*Brandi frowned, displeased by the whole situation and the complications it presented (or was at least starting to). She shook her head, even as it swam.*
"No. It can't. I mean, before...I wasn't here." *How could she explain to him about the Real World and not have his brain melt? Even War had had difficulties with the concept and he wasn't exactly a softie.*
"It's just...I was outside..." This place. *Guh. Why did it have to be so complicated? Oh right, it's plot.*

*Dracula hushed her, carrying her to the bed and setting her on it gently. He didn't so much want to be kind, but was somehow compelled to not be too rough with her. Perhaps it was the hope that she could sense the compromise and let the memory of them back in.*
"It was a long time ago." *He said plainly, eyes wandering over her cautiously.*
"You have been many places -- many times -- since then." *How could one explain it? It was most frustrating.*

*Of course, she'd kinda already established that with Raziel. She just didn't know how many iterations there had been and more importantly, she didn't know about the first with the three of them. Brandi's lips tightened, though thing seemed a little better on the bed. The world wasn't spinning as readily.*
"I know. I mean, I don't remember much. But I know there were...other times." *Her eyes shut, trying to find a better way to express herself. There was something ridiculous about the two of them here, actually trying to communicate. It was bizarre.*
"I just don't know...how. Why. Or the details." *Yeah, that about summed it up. In a relatively nondescript way.*

*Dracula rolled his eyes beneath their lids, letting out a slow sigh. This might take more time than he was eager to give.*
"We were happy once. Ages ago, it seems..." *He whispered, eyes still closed.* "But Gabriel, he was never one to accept that I might be deserving of such." *The words grew bitter.*
"He would not stop until he'd had you. And you..." *His lids rose, gaze burning with rage that had tempered for centuries.*
"You were all too willing to let him."

*Brandi suddenly regretted her prying. It would be much nicer to have a different topic to speak on. One that maybe didn't make him want to kill or torture her. Hell, at this point, being unconscious wasn't looking all that unpleasant. She swallowed nervously, inching back on the bed, but really...there was nowhere to go.*
"I...I'm sorry, but..." *How could she know what she might have done? She'd done well enough at avoiding Raziel (and any urges she had been having) except that one time and nothing had really happened, right? Memories were just...well, complicated.*
