*Elisabeta sighed and turned her head to offer him greater access to her throat. She tried to sound innocent and unassuming, but it was hard to suppress her smile.*
"You are a great lord, a prince of an expansive manor...I assumed that you would...just say no."
*She leaned back and sucked her lip, meeting his eyes as her hands wandered to the buttons of his shirt. She unfastened them deftly, tracing her fingers over the cold skin beneath.*

*Dracula placed kisses on her jaw line and looked back up to her, his eyes light by passion.*
"I trust you more then I trust myself."

*Elisabeta pursed her lips for a moment, unsure why her lord should have reason to not trust himself, but she pushed the thought away and wiggled out of her gown before moving her fingers to his trousers. She sucked his earlobe before whispering hotly.*
"Show me. Show me that you trust me...that you love me. Be with only me tonight."

*Dracula claimed her mouth and pulled her down unto the chaise lounge. He pulled back for a moment to look down at her face.*
"You're so beautiful and you are mine. We belong together, forever."
*FADE OUT*

***FADE IN***
*Elisabeta gave a feline stretch, arching her back and looking down at her lord with a contented smile.*
"Thank you, my love. Any wait is worth that."
*Her smile faded and she pursed her lips as she lowered her head to his chest as if listening for some absent heartbeat.*
"I hope the cost was not too high for you."
*She glanced up to him.*
"Is that what has you perplexed?"

*Dracula looked up at Elisabeta.*
"There is no cost too high for being able to be with you."
*He grasped her hands and kissed them tenderly.*
"All the things that trouble me disappear when I am with you."

*Elisabeta eyed him suspiciously, but eventually surrendered a smile. She had been married to him long enough to know when something was bothering him, but she had also learned that it wasn't wise to push. He would tell her when he was ready.*
"Just don't let your father hear you talk like that, all right?"
*She grinned up to him before planting kisses on his chest.*

*Dracula stroked Elisabeta's hair and smiled faintly.*
"My father is a great warrior, but he does not know love like I do. He thinks it weakens me, while in fact it makes me stronger."

*Elisabeta snuggled against his hand, encouraging his touch before she shut her eyes and hid her face against his chest.*
"I want to believe that, Vlad, but..."
*She traced her fingertips over his bare skin.*
"Would your life not be simpler without me? I am afraid I have not been a very good wife. If you did not have to worry about me, you could have expanded your empire without..."
Selling your soul.
*She sighed.*
"I just seem to complicate things."

*Dracula grasped Elisabeta's hands and kissed them.*
"What's done, is done. We should never regret what we have done, for it has made us who we are today."

A soulless polyamour and a dead woman living a half-life in some tart's body?
*Elisabeta sighed and kissed him gently.*
"I am just worried, my love. I guess I just expected things to be...easier once I found you again. But I am starting to think that we may never get to be together. The thought pains my soul in a way I cannot express. When I am alone in the dark...sometimes I want to die for longing of you."
And where would the loss be if I did? You would be able to find another.

If you go suicidal on me, I will haul your ass out of the afterlife, missy!
*Dracula froze.*
"Don't say that. Don't even think that. We'll find a way to be together in this life. We just have to keep believing in it."

*Elisabeta looked up to him, her eyes seeking his for some promise, some confirmation. She swallowed gently.*
"I will try, my love...but please...tell me what it is that you're avoiding the mention of. Is it something about me? This shell? Is something bad going to happen?"

((Didn't Francis say that same exact thing to Irene?)) ((All my male characters don't like it when their lovers die. Also, I think I stole that line from Hellboy)) "It's not about you or Sylvia." *Dracula avoided looking into her eyes.* "I saw something. A prophecy of some sort. And in it, I died."
