*Fievel wandered about backstage, looking for a scrap of something he could make into a gift for his friend Erik.*

*Otto sat upon a piece of scenery and watched the little mouse, prepare to pounce. It was a terribly small mouse, and it he hardly looked worth the little effort it would take to catch him, but Otto couldn't let up an oppertunity to be destructive. He leapt from the set piece, pinning the helpless mouse with a paw*
"Hello little mouse," *he said with a malicious grin.*
((Don't worry! Will not kill adorable mouse.))

*Fievel didn't utter forth a single squeak--what would be the use? but his eyes grew wide.*
If I were in America, this would not have happened! Oh, why did I get separated from my family?
"H-he-hell-o..." *he trembled.*

*Otto grinned wider, showing his sharp teeth. He' play with the mouse for a bit.*
"What's your name, mouse?" *He asked, letting his paw up a bit.*

((Charlie's Angels FTW. Man that movie was awesomely bad.))
"I hope I didn't scare you too much, Fievel. I rather like mice."
For lunch. Or with him, a light snack.

((So bad, it's almost good.))
"I'm sorry I can't say I feel the same about cats..." *he said in a slightly stronger tone. What was the point of being guarded? He was already about to be eaten.*

((Yup. And I just watched An American Tail again for the first time since I was like 8. That was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I amost cried.))
*Otto frowned. It was amost... cute.*
What?!
*He wouldn't let himself go soft- not for a little creature that wasn't even a proper meal!*
"Oh, we're not all bad!"

((ISN'T IT JUST? SOOOME WHEEERE OOOUT THERE BENEATH THE PAAALE MOONLIIIIIGHT SOOOOME ONE'S THINKING OOOOF ME AND LOVING MEEEE TONIIIIIGHT *SOBSOBSOB*))
*Fievel thought of Tiger, who technically he hasn't met yet if he never even made it to America.*
"Granted, but--excuse me, your claws are kind of digging into my throat."
((ETA: The sequel was on TV a while back and Fievel's sister is a TOTAL phanbrat. She wants to be an opera diva, but she sucks ass.))

((I KNOOOOW! And they'd all given up hope and he was sitting in the gutter all alone and he thought he'd never find them... that's about when I lost it.))
*Otto sheathed his claws and raised his paw. Maybe he shouldn't kill the mouse. He was too small for any proper meal, and his typist was still reeling from the incredible cuteness. *
"Better?"

((You totally DID cry, didn't you?))
"Marginally," *said Fievel as he slowly got up, using words that were way too big for him.* "...it's not like I'm off the hook."

((No! I'm way too much of a bitchy cynical teenager to cry! Okay, maybe a little. But Hallie cried too!))
"I'm not going to eat you, mouse. You're far too small to be anything but a mouthful."
*He was cute, damnit. And it couldn't be said at Otto didn't have a heart.*

((Heh. I'm not even a teenager anymore omgwtfwhendidthathappen? uh sometime last february and I still cry at the drop of a hat over cute sad things.))
"...huh. Never thought that'd save me," *he remarked.*

((We're just a couple of sentimental sissies.))
"Consider yourself lucky. I'm feeling generous."
*This is what he got for learning human languages. Human emotions like pity. Bah.*

((Let's get some chocolate and go watch Hallmark commercials.))
*Fievel took off his big floppy hat and scratched his big floppy ears.*
"Well, thanks, I guess."
