*Elizabeth yelped slightly as a frog hopped by her skirts. She pressed a hand to her rapidly-beating heart for a moment before she sighed with relief.* "It's only a frog," *she said, crouching down to pick up the creature before hearing a chorus of little croaks.* "It's only...a bunch of frogs..." *she said, true puzzlement in her voice.* "How on earth did they all get back here?"

*River jumps aside so that she doesn't get squished like the frogs.* "That was .... disturbing." *River sits down next to Indiana and helps her up.* "You should watch out were you are walking." *She said in a prefect Texan accent.*

*Elaine was startled by the frogs and stifled a scream. If the frogs weren't enough, a young woman had just fallen down in front of her and...squished some frogs...Elaine shut her eyes because she didn't want to see whatever it was that remained of said frogs under Indiana.* It just gets better and better.

"Elizabeth Bennet, sir." *said Lizzie genially, reaching out her hand in greeting.* "You will forgive me, but I must go. Pray excuse me." *So saying, she left.*

-looks at river in mild surprize-
"That's odd. I was speaking in a west Texas accent. When did you visit Houston?"
((Sorry. I had to do it.))
I looked suspiciously at the newcommer.
"Howdy... Mister... uh... Sir."

((I wouldn't now what a west Texan accent sounded like even if it was dancing in front of me naked.))
*River shrugged and turned to Raoul.* "You're not the shape in the shadows, are you?"

"Hmmm. I reckon it might be the black and white man in front of you."
((they didn't invent color until the 60's, ya know))

*River spins around and looks at the black and white man.* "Right." *gulp* "Does anybody else feel the urge to scream like a schoolgirl and then run away?" *River asked softly.*

*Elaine looked at the black and white man. At first it wasn't too bad, but the creepiness got to her. She shuddered.* Maybe... *Elaine didn't want to admit anything out loud.*
