While most of Magda's unexpected inheritance, given away grudgingly by an aunt who'd have vastly preferred it not going to a runaway sister's uncouth daughter who'd worked as a maid in a filthy little hovel of an inn, was being tallied up for use in allowing Magda and her husband to move to a better apartment- a townhouse, perhaps, or maybe even a free-standing building with a garden, Magda had allowed herself a small budget to dip into for the purposes of being able to present herself as a Lady.
This mostly meant new clothes, though the free corollary to this was that she was slowly learning to tame her own hair, and while her boot habit proved unbreakable, her current favorite pair, while still fairly heavy-soled and sturdy, at least managed to hint that she had smaller ankles and feet than might have been guessed.
In a tight bodice, creaking corsets and a skirt that covered her legs until the aforementioned ankles and armed with a reticule, Magda made her way down the hallway of the school her husband managed, head held high, almost smugly enjoying the benefits of suddenly being The Headmaster's Virtuous And Respectable Young Wife.
"Knock-knock."
She pushed open the door to Severus' office and leaned in with a smirky smile.

Snape who'd been busy working on a potion to stop sleep, mostly because he could, turned with a start. Taking a deep breath he gave a crooked smile "Hello there."

"And how is my man today, hmmm?"
She slunk toward him, pulled her folded parasol from her reticule and set it aside.

She pulled up a chair and sat beside him, split-legged over the diagonal point of the chair.
"My poor darling."

He huffed and went to the other side of the pot to grab a bottle of something green and to see her better "What brings you out here anyway?"

She reached into her reticule and pulled out a folded piece of paper, waving it enticingly.

He raised an eyebrow and poured the green liquid in to the cauldron causing it to fizz and make the room smell like limes.

Snape placed his elbow in his left hand and his right hand on his face, something he'd not done in quite a while.
"For whom and where?"

"Because it could be good for us?" Magda suggested.
She pulled the chair a little closer and leaned on his shoulder, whispering hotly in his ear:
"And since Croilly vill be there... I vouldn't be averse to asking him to look after Lea for a night so ve could have some... grown-oop time..."
Magda's lips curved into a wry grin, and she gave him a tiny, affectionate nibble on the earlobe.
