It wasn't often that Iron Man met the X-Men. Of course, he wasn't there in that capacity, so it was more like Tony Stark meeting at Xavier's School in New York, but why split hairs? When you took on the mantle of superhero, people tended to call you by your hero name more often than your real one. Unless you were Pepper Pots or Jess Cartwright, that is.
Walking past the kids that were outside, returning waves, he strolled up to the front door and poked his head inside as he pulled off his sunglasses.
Nice, very nice. Now if he could find someone to tell him where Xavier's office was...

Rogue at that moment was sitting in the hall way with a ice pack on her forehead, she'd been helping some kids out and this one kid with this rock power accidentally hurled a rock at her forehead.
Looking up as the doors opened she recognized his face immediately, who didn't know Tony Stark?
"Well hello there suga, you lost?"

He walked into the hall the rest of the way, flashing the woman with the exotically lovely appearance one of his charming smiles.
"You could say that--I'm looking for Professor Xavier, and have no idea where his office is."

Rogue smirked and let the ice pack fall revealing a black eye and a small welt on her forehead "Sure do, follow me, Rogue by the way" she extended her hand "Tony Stark if I'm not mistaken."

He shook her hand.
"Pleased to meet you Rogue, and yes indeed, I'm Tony Stark."
He glanced at the bruising.
"Have an accident?"

She laughed "Since you're here I imagine you know all about this place" she started heading toward Professor Xavier's office "so it wont come as a surprise to you when I say, some kid accidentally hurled a boulder at my face."

"Ouch," he said, tossing a glance over his shoulder at the kids outside.
"I can't imagine being surrounded by that many people with superpowers, all the time."
Sure, he ran into others, but he hadn't really been able to socialize with any of them--mostly because they tended to keep to themselves.

"Well it's not so hard when you have em to you know?" She smiled, although, she didn't really have them anymore, she'd been left with just her absorbing powers. The flight, the fire, it was all gone. And she kind of missed it.
"Here we are" she tapped on the professors door and smiled "he probably all ready knows you're her-"

"That I do" Charles remarked as the door opened without either of them moving "thank you Rogue, Tony Stark" he extended his hand upwards so that Tony wouldn't have any trouble reaching down to shake it.

He shook Xavier's hand.
"Nice to finally meet the man I've heard so much about. You're a popular subject with other people like us, you know."

Rogue laughed and went off with a bow to go gossip about Tony being there.

Charles chuckled and rolled back in to his office "I can only imagine the conversations, please come in."

Tony sat down in one of the chairs in front of Xavier's desk.
"It's mostly gossip, but sometimes you get a bit of the truth in that mess."

"Sometimes, I am glad that you could come at such short notice, your schedule seems quite busy these days, and with a new girlfriend-" Charles smiled.

He grinned, that grin that could mean any number of things, and most of them probably naughty--the grin the media seemed to love as much as the ladies did. "I figured you wouldn't call me if it wasn't important. I know people in our try not to bug one another otherwise." Like a certain broody someone that seemed to favor solitude .
