Adrien threw the sheets back and stormed out to go get a glass of water. It was obvious he was still distressed, shaking like a leaf, but he seemed too angry to notice it and succumb.

In the kitchen Adrien almost broke down crying again, but he was too angry to do it.
"Don't take it out on me!" he shouted back, and started coughing. He turned on the tap, half-filled a cup, and drank some of it. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions," he said under his breath.
