"Well at least we'll have that" he thought of the heroes he'd read about in the times before having being pulled in to Wonderland. He was sure at least one would show up, but how much good they'll be against a mythical dragon he wasn't sure.

Closing her eyes, as though seeing the words in her head, she said:
"'Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!'"

He watched her carefully, unable to keep the worry from his face.

"There's more to the poem, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head."

"I imagine we could find it in a book somewhere yes?"

She chuckled.
"Sure. It's in the sequel to Alice in Wonderland."

"Sequel?"
He shook his head "I hadn't know there was more than one."

"Or we could stay here and have someone pick it up for us" he smiled and picked up the phone.

For as long as they'd been together, she still forgot at times that she could even do things like that. She started laughing.
"I forget! Which is silly since we're in this nice hotel."

Jay shrugged with a smirk "I tend to forget at times as well darling."

She gave his hand a squeeze.
"But you'll have to keep reminding me."
She frowned as a sudden realization hit.
"If...if I become Queen of England...does that mean we won't be living in Paris anymore?"
The very thought of living in motherfrackin' Buckingham Palace made her absolutely dizzy, but leaving the mansion in Paris felt...wrong. Especially since it was part of who Jay was. She could never ask him to give the Gatsby Estate up.

"I imagine so" he replied with a touch of melancholy "I don't believe it would look quite well on either of us if the monarchy lived outside of it's ruling country."
He realized that once this was over and the politics were settled, Sarah would most likely become queen forcing Elizabeth to step down. A woman whom from what he understood had been Queen since 1952, poor Jay was still used to George V. He wondered what that would make him. Duke he imagined, unless they were to marry before the events took fold.

She frowned.
"But...I like the estate." She sighed.
"Ugggh. I don't like politics."

"You don't have to take the position you know" he replied quietly "you'll be known as the rightful queen, but it's all right to leave the politics to the politicians."
