((There's a small problem with that...he has no idea where the Phoenix is, except that it's in the Latin Quarter. Him getting lost would be baaaaad.))

((It's kind of a theatre. Not hard to miss. And the QL? not that big. There are like 2 theatres and ones the Moulin. Plus all the prostitutes know, he could ask one of them ))

**ANOTHER DAY** *Roaming the opera house DID do him some good. The stranger's extremely unnerving and off-putting visit had left him in a turmoil, and he needed desperately to clear his head. The opera house, despite being a bizarre version of what he was used to, managed to help. After some wandering, however, he decided that the only thing which could completely calm him was music. He headed to the auditorium, wincing a bit at the statuary but soon ignoring the decorations as he sang off his emotions. It wasn't until he sat down at the piano for a break when his foot kicked something...a folded piece of paper. Furrowing his brow, he picked it up and was surprised to see his name when it fell open. And the note. Once he'd read the words, he simply stared at it for a moment. And then, he spoke, softly and with regret: * "Oh, Micaela..." *Determined to put on a brave face for the whole Turandot affair, Firmin and Andre strode purposefully into the auditorium, bent on setting things into motion so that Erik wouldn't threaten them. They stopped in their tracks when they discovered the young man at the piano* Firmin: Excuse me, but this is a private area. Only opera personnel are allowed up here. Andre: Or patrons with special dispensations.

*Christian started at the sight of the two men, dropping the note in his hands as he whipped around to face them.*
"Oh, but sirs, I am one of the performers here."

*Firmin's eyebrows almost disappeared into his hairline, as Andre rolled his eyes*
Firmin: Oh really? And by what authority are you said to be?

*The imperiousness of the both of them irritated Christian, but he got the strangest sensation that he knew them from somewhere. It was not the first time he'd had that experience around someone*
"By the Opera Ghost, messieurs."

*There was a long, drawn-out moment in which both comically paled before taking on their more genial exteriors*
Firmin: Perhaps we should introduce ourselves.
Andre: Oh, yes, forgive our rudeness--I am Monsieur Gilles Andre.
Firmin: And I Richard Firmin. Who might we have the pleasure of meeting...?

*Micaela was back, only to retrieve some things she had left, like soap and handkerchiefs.*
*She was cutting through the Auditorium, humming Liu's Signore Ascolte from Turandot to herself very loudly, sometimes singing, when she caught sight of Christian and the managers. She stopped singing immediately and blushed a deep red.*
Not now...
"Bonjour, Christian. Bounjour, Messieurs." *She said, dipping two curtseys in the appropriate directions.* "I was just getting some things I left in my room." *She straightened and turned in the direction of her former room.*

*Firmin and Andre! He'd wondered when he'd run across this world's counterparts, and here they were. He started to answer them when Micaela entered the room. He stared at her, probably for longer than was proper, then quickly tore his eyes away and mumbled a "bonjour" at the floor before glancing back up at the managers*
"Christian Daae, messieurs."

*The managers did a double-take at Christian's name, then exchanged meaningful glances at his reaction to Micaela*
Firmin: Daae...
Andre: A relation of Christine's, perhaps?

*Micaela flushed a bit of a deeper red, and then frowned internally. She was stronger than this! She stood up straight, smiled lightly, and extended a hand to the managers.* "Micaela Mullee, Messieurs. Pleased to meet you. I was on my way out, if I'm causing any inconvenience." *Her voice had a slight Irish lilt to it, evidence of where she had been for the last month.*

*They shook her hands by turns, each silently wondering what she had to do with the young man at the piano*
Firmin: Always good to see young folks in the opera.
Andre: Heartening, it truly is.
Firmin: And your being here is no bother.
Andre: Quite all right.

*Christian, for his part, tried not to stare again as he answered the managers*
"No, there is no Christine in my family, sirs."

*She smiled.*
"I was formerly an employee here, I recently took a trip to Ireland and am now composing for the Phoenix. I hear the next production here is Turandot?" *She glanced at Christian meaningfully and then looked back to the managers.*
