"I know that feeling," he said, his face showing mixed emotions.

"But I think...I think you'd like Spira." She said, her gaze gong distant a moment.
"Especially now that the Calm is permanent. The beauty of the lands, the magic of it all..." she sighed. "I'd love to show you."

Yann shrugged. "Nothing really keeps me here. If you ever go back... You don't have to travel alone."

She smiled.
"I'd like that. And then you'd get to meet all the friends I had to leave behind."
Thinking of all that, and the circumstances around her arrival, she frowned a bit.
"But first, I'd have to find a way back."

Yann nodded quietly. "If there is anything I can do... We can go to the library again tomorrow and find a book?" Books have ALL the information, there must be one that could help Yuna, right?

She chewed her lip thoughtfully for a moment.
"I don't think you'll find Spira in books." She said quietly.
"I...came here through a spell. I don't think we're going to find much about another world."

He frowned. "Not by boat? Or horsecart, or... caravan, even?" He'd always assumed Spira was somewhere in the far East, which was pretty much another world to him, the few things he'd read about that.
"You mean, it really is an OTHER world?" He stared at her.

"It's not reachable by any of those things." She said softly.
"Spira is well and truly in another world. I came here through some magic--who was the cause of it, I don't know, which also means I don't know how to go back there. If only I knew why I'd been taken from Spira to begin with..."

Yann stared at here for what seemed to be a long time, trying to process everything. Eventually he came up with, "So you're all alone here?"

She nodded.
"So far, it seems that none of my friends were brought with me...though I have met people from similar if not the same world. I haven't seen them recently, though..."
She frowned a bit at that, wondering where Sephiroth had gotten off to, or what had happened to the waifish girl and the warrior Basch.

"I'm so sorry..." He leaned forward and grasped her hands, actually tearing up at the idea of such a wonderful young woman being alone in this, he thought, godforsaken world.

"It's all right," she said, patting his hand, a bit alarmed that she'd upset him somehow.
"We can't always be surrounded by people. I've learned that some things you must do on your own."

"I know, but it makes things unnecessarily harder. A single ant in an anthill is alone and useless. We should stick together, that will improve our life, wouldn't it? At least until you find your way back..." He let go of her hands, but not after a reassuring squeeze.

"Of course we can stick together! And perhaps you can help me find the others I've met, who are from world similar to mine. I know the names of two, though I've only heard word from the one since I saw them last."

"I'd love to help you with that. I will do what I can!" he pledged fiercely. Finally he could actually do something useful for someone. Maybe even be a man.
