László followed him out.
"Oh, I don't know about that. I just...do what feels right. And tonight, it all...felt right, even though I was scared." He admitted.

"I'm sorry you had to find me in such a sorry state."

He rubbed Louis' arm affectionately.
"It's all right. You've seen me in a sorry state, too."

He laughed softly.
"Quite."

"So, maybe we can celebrate at home. Er...I don't know if we should go to my home. I honestly don't know how John feels about you."

"My home isn't far" he smiled "although I am planning on selling it soon."

"Oh yeah? Where are you moving to?
And your place is fine."

He started walking "I'm going to travel, a friend of mine convinced me to."

"Oh, now that sounds wonderful," he said with a wistful sigh.
"I'd love to travel if I could."

"I want to learn more about my kind, see where we came from and what not, I was told that no good can come from such a journey. But I have to know."

He nodded.
"Yeah, I'd want to know, too. All those myths and legends about vampires almost never tell you where they came from. But you had to come from somewhere."

"I've heard Romania more times than I can could, but for some odd reason, I can't say that it's true. I believe it was something simply made up by early vampires, and carried by humans" he sighed "something inside me believes we come from hell."

"No," he said, with an incredible amount of surety, even though he couldn't really know for certain.
"There are plenty things out there more terrible than vampires that aren't. You don't have to be from Hell to be a monster."
Not that László really thought about things in such a way--religion had been something that hadn't had much of a presence in his life. Well, unless you counted those priests, but being on his knees with them hadn't been for prayer.

"I know there are things worse than what I am, but" he sighed "it does not matter, I need not think of this at the moment."
He gave a soft smile "I do apologize for my melancholy attitude, it isn't as if I've had a reason not to be."

"I think, and I hope you don't mind me saying this, that being melancholy is just who you are." He said.
"So there's nothing to apologize for."
