**NEW DAY**
Having run out of all the intriguing and non-threatening spells to fool about with in her arsenal, the White Queen (once Sarah) decided to pay the museum a visit. Even in this strange world, her rather odd appearance cause a bit of consternation among the staff and other museum-goers, but she paid it no mind and instead made a beeline for the section about the era of King Arthur--the era of her sword. True, she knew a lot about the stories, from old ballads to The Once and Future King, but it still didn't hurt to keep the ideas fresh in her mind.
Plus, perhaps she'd get a new idea for a spell.

Michelle had finally tracked down the alpha werewolf, though it was to a location she never would've guessed at--for what could such a creature find in a museum that would be of help?
She'd had to be careful, coming in--security at the door would quickly out her with her guns, and thus she'd had to take a more roundabout route.
She entered the building through a door on the roof. Her acrobatics serving her well in getting up there, Michelle had stealthily made her way in and had begun to systematically thread her way through the building, ignoring the curious or even outright aghast looks her manner of dress gained her.
Finally, she'd figure out that the alpha was hiding out somewhere in the medieval section, and she was hunting about for the beast when she ran across one of the museum-goers--a strangely pale woman with a dreamy look on her face.
"Pardon me." Michelle murmured, giving the woman a quick nod and moving around her.

The White Queen blinked slowly at the newcomer, who was both strange yet familiar at the same time. In the back of her mind, the part that was still Sarah, she recognized Michelle as 'one of hers', and the White Queen half acknowledged such foresight as simply another part of her steadily growing abilities.
"Oh, of course. It's difficult, fighting monsters."

The odd woman's comment stopped Michelle in her tracks.
"How do you know what I'm doing?"

"Why, because of your manner! You are dressed for the kill!" She answered simply, as though it were very obvious.

While she'd been told she dressed to kill in the past, Michelle knew that nobody that had told her that was referring to actual hunting.
"I think you know more than you say."

The White Queen pursed her lips thoughtfully.
"You're sharp, like cheddar." She glanced around, as though making sure no one overheard, and then whispered.
"You're right. I know things that others would not."

She shook her head. Being compared to cheese was not something that regularly occurred.
"How do you know? It's not just a guess."
Was she one of the more powerful denizens of this world?

Look out, you're talking to a habitual fourth-wall breaker!
The White Queen smiled at some invisible thing up in air.
"Well of course," she said, seemingly to no one.
She glanced back at Michelle, addressing her once more.
"Oh, it's not, the greater guess is why I can know."

"Right," Michelle said, resisting the urge to raise both eyebrows at the woman's behavior.
"Whatever you say.
And while we're talking, maybe you know where that beast went?"
If this person was all-knowing, then she'd know how to find the werewolf.

Once again, as though making sure they weren't being eavesdropped, the White Queen glanced around before answering.
"Behind the swords."

Michelle was surprised, though she hid it--she hadn't really expected a straight answer.
"It didn't do anything to you?"

"Ah, that's wonderful of you to be concerned, but you needn't worry--I was invisible at the time."

"Right," she said, starting to take the woman's non-sequitors in stride.
"In any case, I'm going back there."
She hesitated, wondering just how helpful this person would be.
"Can you make sure no one will go back there?"

"Of course." the White Queen answered with a beautific smile.
"I wouldn't want anyone to be hurt."
