At some point Adrien had to open at least one eye. This seemed like the time.

Adrien took this as a 'take that' aimed at what he perceived Adrien's former profession to have been, and stood up quickly and almost a bit shakily. "I see," he said, going quietly and demurely into the bathroom to disappear behind a shut door and finish removing lingerie and then wash any vestiges of makeup off. After about ten minutes he came out and began to dress quietly in another dress he'd packed.

"What?" he asked, wide-eyed and now anxious, to have Adrian accusatory like this, even if it was just in bewilderment - Adrian tended to be intimidating. "Nothing! Nothing!" He threw his hands in the air as he said this, but pulled them back timidly and literally backed away afterward.

Luckily Adrien didn't notice, not at all in the mindset to notice things like attractiveness. He finished that up and then went and sat at the minibar to make himself a drink and down it pretty swiftly.
