"Wearing a pilot's jumpsuit is not the same as flying a plane. And I wish we had sleds." *These two statements were incongruous. This didn't matter to her.*

Adrien bet Adrian had sleds, or something that could be used to carry things through snow that had a big funky name but which was basically a sled even though Adrian would only make sure you knew it was not a sled, for posterity's sake, before letting you run off with it, and gave Adrian a hopeful look.

"Well, there are the snowmobiles, though I would really prefer not burning gasoline on the tundra."

Adrien, from the 1930s, only gave him a mildly confused look.

*Micaela almost sighed disappointedly.*
"It's fine. Let's go." *She pulled the goggles down.*

"Not even some big old boards or something?" asked Adrien for a moment as they drifted purposefully towards the door.

"We used to steal cafeteria trays at school and sneak out to sled during our free bells." *She said, with a wistful smile.*

"I suppose I could have someone search the kitchens for something appropriate, though I'm afraid it won't do you much good," Adrian said dryly. "The surrounding tundra is quite flat."

"Pengiuns?" *She attempted a dance in her snowsuit and ended up hopping in a circle.*

He opened the airlock with a device on the wall.
"Once more unto the breach, shall we?"

Adrien would have tried to poke Micaela in the side, to get her attention, and smile at her, but he suspected she wouldn't feel it. Or maybe she would. What was that story about a princess and a pea?
