Yes, in more than one way.
*nods slowly*
He was...he was...we were gonna...we were almost...engaged.

Ichabod froze for a moment, and stopped stroking Bonnie-Marie's hair. He coughed.
"Oh - were you," he said after a long pause, his voice sounding strained.

*freezes too, keeping her gaze locked firmly on the ground*
Well...in a way. Yes. I mean, it was all over! But still...I never wanted him to die!
*chokes back a sob*

Ichabod was still absorbing the information, and was unsure of whether he wanted to comfort Bonnie-Marie or not. He settled for a pat on the shoulder.
"I'm sure he's in a better place," he offered lamely.

*jerks her head up suddenly*
You don't seem very bothered by the fact that a man just died.
*narrows her eyes at him, studying his actions closely*

"I've spent most of my adult life working with criminal acts and dead bodies," he replied. "There's just not much that bothers me anymore."

*eyes grow wider than ever before and then fill with tears*
*whispered* Ichabod...you didn't...you couldn't...oh God, you did, didn't you?

Why would he do this to hims--*gasps, horrified*
What if he heard about me and Ichabod? But, but, how could he know? Who else could know? Oh my God, I caused Dominic's death! And...I just accused...oh, oh...
*wrings her hands absentmindedly, more hysterical than she's ever been*

Ichabod eyed the remains once more. "Normally I would be willing to do a forensic analysis, but this man is... well, the remains aren't quite suited for analyzing, if you get my meaning."

*doesn't respond or even seem to notice his comment. Instead, sits down on one of the steps, pulls her knees in as close to her torso as is humanly possibly, and rocks back and forth with her eyes closed, trying in vain to forget all that she caused*
