It was indeed easy for Erik to forget his worries in Charles' embrace and soon all the master of magnetism was concerned about was making his lover experience as much pleasure and love as he could provide.

((FAR TOO CUTE))
Anyone watching would find themselves fading out of the bedroom, as if propelled by powers far beyond their control. There was still enough to watch in the rest of the house, though, as several unfortunate spoons, a metal table and a chandelier were bent out of shape.
When the fade in would be allowed, Erik was on his side next to Charles, holding his lover close.

((I like how you did that, I really do))
Charles sighed in to Erik's chest and closed his eyes.

Erik smiled, gently stroking Charles' back as he allowed himself to drift off into sleep.

As Erik fell asleep Charles sat up on the side of the bed and looked down on him.
It wasn't that long ago that they were trying to kill each other. That every time Erik's name as well as his alter ego was mentioned, a terrible thing happened in his mind and he had to control himself from saying anything that would hurt the people around him. Erik had driven him mad so many times, yet here they were. In bed, and very much in love.
Did he truly believe that one day Erik wouldn't go back to his old ways, no, but Charles couldn't be sure. And if that day came, he'd accept it, and move on, he had to. Because if he let it get to him, worse things than a broken heart would come of it.
He allowed himself to fall for him again, and that was all right, because even if he didn't believe that Erik would be good forever, he believed in their love.
And that was all that mattered, right now.
He pulled himself in to his chair and made his way down to the kitchen to greet Logan.
