*Arielle pulled at his hand desperately, terrified, but felt her strength draining as she continued her losing battle*

Edward Hyde was delighted to see the defeat on her face, and lost no time in backing the rest of the way and shutting themselves inside box three again. Only after the door was securely shut did he finally relax his grip on her throat, but he still didn't let her go. He pulled her down into a sitting position on the floor and pulled her close against him. He began to comb his fingers through her hair while speaking in a rough yet oddly soothing voice. "There, there, it's all better. Edward Hyde will make it all better."

*Arielle gasped softly before fainting, her body falling back limply against Hyde.*

Edward Hyde laughed, realizing of course that this would only make things easier. He began to unfasten the back of her dress, then stopped suddenly and ran his hands along the exposed portion of her back. This seemed enough to satisfy him at the moment, and he continued to do this, grinning maniacally as his hands continued their continuous movements.

After some time of her never waking up, Hyde growled in disgust. This was getting rather pointless, and he was getting weary of this. He jumped up, letting her fall heedlessly to the floor, and paced back and forth to the door a few times. Finally, as if making up his mind, he knelt beside her and started roughly ripping the rest of the dress fastenings apart. The last one off, he paused and ran his hand down her back one last time before continuing...
((And... she either wakes up, or we do fade-out...))

((I don't care. Can't make a decision to save my life, so...what do you want to do?))

((Well, I'm not much better at decision-making. Hyde's all for it, naturally, and I'll go either way, so whatever... Of course, it's probably heading that way anyway unless something drastic happens...))

Actually, let's go for the fade-out. I want her to have SOMETHING to be all depressed about...and right now, she's like 'ZOMG light and sunshine and roses and wow!'))

((Lol! Okay, angsting material coming right up... And boy, Arielle sure won't be the only one. Jekyll will be devastated when he finds out about this...))
...At last, Edward Hyde stood up again, a satisfied smirk on his face. Arielle still lay limply on the floor, the dress haphazardly put back in place. It would doubtless be obvious to her immediately what had just happened, but Hyde really didn't care. What she thought in the matter hardly mattered to him, after all. He had enjoyed it very much, and that was what mattered. He allowed himself a final touch of her face.

((Total collapse of logical time in between now and the conversation in the foyer, but oh well.))
*Teddy had followed Arielle towards the auditorium, then had been distracted by the nekkid gold women statues fine architecture of the building. At last, remembering his purpose, he galloped into the auditorium on his white steed, his armor clanking heroically entered the auditorium and glanced around at the seemingly empty space with puzzlement. He then saw a scrap of glimmering fabric peeking out from one of the boxes. Turning his footsteps towards it, he made his way into Box Three. Coming through the arched doorway, he glanced at the piece of frabic which had caught his attention--it seemed to be not attached to anything, though it might once have been part of a dress. Then he saw Arielle, lying motionless on the floor, her clothing in such an attitude and the bruises on her skin to say unmistakably what had just occured. Shock and horror crossed Teddy's face as he knelt beside the prone young woman.* "Miss Arielle! My God..."

((*pounces on Teddy happily*))
*Arielle opened her eyes slowly as she heard a familiar voice, groaning as she slowly gained consciousness.* Where am I? *Her whole body ached as she struggled to remember what happened. She sat up slowly, her face paling as she realized what had happened.* Oh my God! *She burst into hysterical tears, backing up against the wall as she gasped, struggling to breathe.*

*Teddy panicked.* "There now, Miss Arielle...I...oh God...oh my God...um..." *He removed the cloak he still wore with an impressive swirly motion and draped it around Arielle's shoulders gently, speaking slowly, in a low, soft voice, his American accent calming and unthreatening.* "You've had a shock. Can I get you anything? A glass of water? Wine? Spirits? Is there anyone you'd like me to fetch for you? A physician? Can you stand? Walk? Shall I carry you to a place where you may better recover and catch your breath?" *He was racking his brain, seeking any offer of assistance within his power.*

*Arielle pulled the cloak tightly around her as she collapsed on Laurie's shoulder, still sobbing and unable to speak. She gasped and shuddered as she...sobbed.*

*Teddy nervously took Arielle in his arms, unsure of how she'd react to such proximity of a gentleman after...* But of course whoever did this is no gentleman... *He thought savagely. He made soothing sounds and rocked her gently, like a child, letting her cry as hard as she wished onto his broad shoulders.*
