I figured since we kept making elaborate jokes about it in the chatbox, I might as well post a thread and get everything sorted out. This goes to Dr. Horrible's harem Cabinet of Chaos (Rinoa, Micaela, Azula, Hallie, and not-FF7-Aeris) and anyone else who might be affected by his revolution:
The only thing I really have pinned down is that the revolution will either never really take off, or it's going to get nipped in the bud. With that in mind, who wants to take a side?!

Well, Leia and Enjolras lead a revolution a few months ago- the nation might be a bit tired...

Yeah, I figured. Which is why I'm thinking about having it become a 'Verse injoke that Dr. Horrible will never take over France no matter how much he says he wants to.

I vote it ends up kind of like Ron Paul! Famous for its strong supporters, but not really successful.

Just so long as you get far enough in a plan so that there can be an eventual fight between Azula and Yomiko Readman. It's going to be tropetastic and glorious.
Also, someone has to bring Hammer in for a rematch with his nemesis. Maybe? Perhaps?

*Just sticking this up here for plot fodder consideration*
Dr. Horrible, our beloved blinky puppy, is entering employment with Dr. Crane, the Verse's true resident evil genius. Should this plot go south, I suggest the Cabinet of Chaos storm the asylum for some reason or the other. Carrie White is one of Crane's patients. Her throwing down with any of magically gifted haremites could be epic. (Carrie's player said she'd be up for a clash with Azula, but I'm willing to share as Carrie wields a tad more raw power than Azula, but anyway...) Putting it out there...

That actually sounds perfect! I need to have Billy make another Death Ray at some point so he's not totally defenseless. In theory, at least--we all remember how his LAST death ray got broken because he couldn't quite shake off his compassion for living things, even if they were smarmy jackasses who routinely beat him up for the hell of it.

Alright, I'm going to have actually ask about this. How might Midna and her army's arrival (with Richard) interfere? Ideally, I think they'd suddenly crash onto the scene like a Dark World version of Gandalf's arrival at Helm's Deep.

It would be a "Light and Slightly Darker Gray vs. Sort-Of-Medium-Charcoal (and Pure Black for the Scarecrow)" fight, I suppose.
Once Dr. Horrible remembers that killing people is the POINT of having a Death Ray, I assume he'll start actually killing. (That doesn't mean he'd LIKE it, though. He might break a little more.)

...I'm going to add that to the Favorite Quotes thread.
Yeah, it's never easy, either. Midna has qualms about killing, but mostly just for her own people.

Or maybe he'll just make another Freeze Ray and save the Death Ray for Captain Hammer. Again.

Hmm, can I throw in Bunnie Rabbot at some point here? She's, needless to say, against potential advanced-technology-wielding tyrants.
