Pavi pushed by, looking rather ridiculous in faux chain mail.
"Mescusi, perdoname, make way!" he shouted. "The Pavi must get in place!"

Although she'd seen him around the place before, Evelyn still didn't know what to make of Pavi--she was hearing all sorts of stories about him (some horrible, and some...well, too explicit for her taste, thanks to Pavi's hangers-on), and hadn't quite sorted what was true and what wasn't.

Despite her internal fretting related to him of only a few moments earlier, Corinne was actually sort of relieved to see Pavi. She needed a distraction.
"Looking forward to being impaled by you later," she chirped, only sounding half-hysterical.

She sighed and went over her script one more time, before looking at Phoenix. "Is this your first show, love?" she asked gently. Phoenix smiled, unintimidated. She thought Mag was good, from what she'd seen--and though she resented her corporate backing, she didn't need to extend that to the woman herself. "Here," she confirmed. "I emcee at the Kit Kat. But I'm looking for something more... legitimate."

"Looking forward to being impaled by you later," she chirped, only sounding half-hysterical. "I hope-a so," he oozed, squeezing up behind her. "The Pavi has not forgotten our little appointment, bella..." He smiled, and his face creased unpleasantly, in ways people's faces typically didn't crease when they were on their original owners. This face, in fact, looked eerily like Timandrée's.

((AHAHAHA WIN.))
Oh, thank god, Corinne actually found herself thinking. If he's got a new one, he'll be less likely to come after mine.
And even if he did...well, she found herself hoping he noticed her less than stellar complexion, then. Pavi Largo would most likely think her flawed pores beneath him.
"You should have gone for the other girl, I think," she said teasingly. "She's a summer. This one's a winter, and your costume is doing her no favors."

Miranda couldn't waste too much time being disturbed by her staff. As the curtain went up, she stepped out, beaming, to address the audiance.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!" she called, doing a slight Emcee impression. "The tale we present to you tonight is as grusome as its actors are lovely. Paris welcomes GeneCo stars Pavi Largo and Blind Mag, and we're sure you'll love them as much as they love you."
She couldn't resist a slight thrust of her hips there.
"Let the show begin!"
((And whether you want to act it out as you go along or just post saying 'one grisly hour later', either's fine with me.))

Mag's entrance wasn't until at least half an hour in, and she paced back and forth just offstage, occasionally looking up in time to see some random, minor character be plunged face-first into a vat of acid or impaled.
And the audience laughed.
"Good God," she muttered.

Pavi came up behind Mag and settled his head on her shoulder, while extending a hand up to fondle one of her breasts.

"Hello, Pavi," she said wearily, subtly shifting her body away from him.

Corinne's character was pretty standard horror fare: the evil skank who tries to plot against the heroine, jealous of her beauty, only to come to some sticky end. Not a lot of stage time, either, but she didn't mind. She liked playing evil. Besides, she was just glad she didn't have to sing. It was hardly one of her strong points, especially against Blind freakin' Mag.
Speaking of...she noticed the unwanted attention the soprano was getting from her costar.
"Ooh, Pavi..." She simpered, shooting Mag an understanding look around his head. "I think my bustier's gone wacky. Would you help...adjust me?"

"Ah, bella, bella!" Pavi chided, stepping away from Mag for the time being and rubbing up against Corinne with far too much familiarity.

Evelyn got to die rather wonderfully in the middle, getting hacked to bits by the crazed serial killer that was working for the evil woman. She went down in into a bloody pile of limbs, hiding one of her real arms so that it looked it had been chopped off. After her body was "dumped in the woods," Evelyn returned to the wings, blood-spattered but wearing a smile.
She'd missed acting.

Corinne beamed at her costar.
"Good job," she hissed, smacking Pavi away from her in what she hoped read as a playful manner, then holding a hand out to Evelyn for a high-five as she ran past to make her entrance.

Johannes did his best to keep his attention on the show, than his delicious costars, in the midst of the play however he decided to do a little ad-libbing, grabbing one of the throw away characters, whom he was sure was to actually be murdered later and bit in to her neck while singing a beautiful song along with some of the other... killers.
((If this play existed, it would be called "WTF?"))
