"Lead the way, Miss Shirley," *he said, holding out his hat so she might proceed him up the path to the clifftop where his horse waited to be walked back towards Green Gables. A small smile curled Willoughby's lips as Miss Shirley turned her back on him to go ahead by the narrow footpath. His stay in Prince Edward Island was beginning to look brighter and brighter all the time...*
