*Becca sat on the sofa with her feet propped up, reading. Certainly, the Empress as "at home" but she clearly didn't expect any callers as she was entering the final months of her pregnancy and genteel visiting types tended to avoid such unseemly women who were naught but waddling and weariness.*

*The maid entered first, followed by Treszka*
"Company!" The maid called cheerily. "It's the Lady Wittelsbach."
*Treszka felt a blush creep up her cheeks. Lady? It felt weird being called that...*
"Hi," she said shyly.

"Treszka!" *cried Becca, her face lighting up as she laid aside her book and struggled to rise to greet her sister-in-law.* "--uh...a moment..." *she grimaced, one hand gripping the sofa as the other braced the small of her back as she stood with absolutely none of her usual grace in the movement.*

*Treszka grinned, moving over to Rebecca so that she wouldn't have to go far*
"Wow...that one must be growing fast."

"And it seems like the wedding was only yesterday," *said Becca with a smile, reaching out and taking Treszka's hand.* "--how have you been?"

*She held Becca's hand*
"I've been good, mostly keeping busy with schoolwork. How are you and Rudolf?"

"I'm well enough, considering I can no longer see my own feet--and your brother is in fine spirits. Tell me of your schooling--it seems so long since I was last at school myself...I feel rather ancient at the thought!"

*Treszka chuckled*
"You're not old! Your husband is." She said with a wink.
"Well, I'm mostly studying music at the university--with a side interest in history. I'm not much of a singer, but teach says I have a talent for writing music...I'm, er, trying to compose a musical, in fact." She sounded a bit sheepish at the last part.

"Really? That's stupendous! Tell me all about it!" *Becca seated them on the couch, eager to hear of it with all the enthusiasm of a kindred creative soul. True, she hadn't painted in years, now, but...well.*

*She joined Becca on the couch, happy to have somebody to tell all this to.*
"I still haven't worked out all the plot details, but it's basically based on the old Greek myth about Pygmalion and Galatea."

"How fascinating...I've always loved myths and legends. I used to paint them quite often...though I never felt I got them quite right. So many feature the most beautiful woman in the world...and I can never quite decide what she must look like."

"I actually had trouble with that, myself--I was thinking of a show based on the Iliad, but then I realized it would be impossible to find someone 'right' for the part of Helen of Troy."

*Rebecca laughed.*
"Unfortunately, any time I think of a face launching a thousand ships I think of some hideous hag with a monstrous chin shaped like a jetty!"

*She laughed along with her*
"Of course! They were trying to get away from her, not going to her!"

"Another historical mystery solved!" *chuckled Becca. She rang a small bell, and had tea and refreshments brought in and served.*
"Tell me more of this musical..."
"TONY WOULD BE PERFECT TO PLAY HIGGINS. WANT TO DIRECT TONY IN A PLAY? I COULD GET HIM TO DO IT. ONCE I GOT HIM OUT OF TELEUTE'S APARTMENT."
