"When I figure out how it works, yeah." He said, laughing a bit.

"Well, Papa's been busy with figuring out a way to bring a lady back from the dead, but I'm sure he's trying to figure out what you are too."

His eyes widened almost comically at this news.
"Really? Do you think it'd work? The bringing back the dead thing, I mean."
Well, if a man could do that, then surely he'd be able to figure out what Fenris was! Fenris' own theory was that he was like a werewolf, though obviously not a wolf--but he also had no idea where he came from, or who his family is. Figuring out what he was would be some kind of start, at least.

"That would be amazing."
Finally, they'd reached the top of the stairs, and Fenris paused for a moment, taking a break. Trying to remember that you didn't have four feet anymore while walking took some effort.
"So, where do I stay now? I don't know long I'll be this way..."
But hopefully it's a while, because I like being able to speak.

"Well there's a room right next to ours that's empty, I guess you can stay there" she led him down the hallway and in to the room "I'll go get you some clothes, I'll be right back."
On her way to the closet she ran in to her room "Hazel" she whispered "Fenris is human!"
"Suuuure."
Running out she went to the closet and grabbed a bunch of pants and shirts, etc.

Staying snugly wrapped in the blanket, he sat down on the bed, glancing about the room as he waited. One of the plus sides of being human was that he had a height advantage now--and could actually reach up and nab whatever it was he wanted, too.
Fenris had the feeling he was going to like this form a lot better than the dog one.

Coming back she knocked on the door "You still wrapped up?"

"Yeah, though I don't understand why humans are so concerned by that."

"That's true...hey, now I know why it got so cold! Ha."
He eyed the clothes a moment.
"I think so..."

She giggled "I's fairly easy, underpants go on just like pants, but you put the underpants on first, you pull them leg by leg, make sure not to get caught up in em. Shirts are a bit more tricky, if you need 'elp I'll be right outside mmkay? Just call for me."

"Yyyyep." He said, waiting until she was out of the room before shedding the blanket and putting on the borrowed clothes.
He actually did know how it went, having figured it out from seeing how clothes were worn and how they sat on a person, though of course he was a bit awkward having not done it himself.
Still, he didn't need the help, and he was dressed he opened the door and poked his head out.
"Hi."

"It gets easier with practice. I'm fine now, no worry--it only hurts when you transform, and then you're...what's the word...disoriented for a while. But it wears off."
He vaguely recalled it happening, when he was a baby, but those memories were foggy.
