"Oh, okay." He said, and linked arms with John.
"Let's go, then."

John smiled and headed upstairs toward the bedroom.
When they got there, he unlinked their arms and he unlocked the door "I'm afraid yesterday a young boy wandered inside hoping to find something valuable, he was quite embarrassed when I caught him," he pushed open the door "there was no harm done, but I had to remind myself to lock the room more often."

"Yeah, you gotta be careful. Even people who aren't regular thieves would do it."
He gave John a sly smile.
"I thought about it, before."

"What do you mean?" He opened the door and headed in, closing it as soon as Laszlo entered.

"I've been in here before, you know. Thinking of taking stuff. That was back before I trusted anything here."

"Oh right" he chuckled "I apologize if my mind isn't quite where it needs to be at the moment."

He laughed as he sat down to take off his boots.
"I got really close to ganking something. But by that point I already liked you and couldn't do it."

John colored a little "Well thank you for thinking otherwise" he sat across from Laszlo doing the same.

László kicked his boots to the side, wiggling his now freed toes.
"That was back before I really understood anything. I just...didn't want to steal. Not from you. I get it now, of course."

John gave Laszlo a big smile and threw his boots in the corner, then began to unbutton his shirt.

"You know I've changed a lot because of you," he continued, speaking softly.
"There's so many things now that I have that I gave up on, or didn't believe in, that sometimes it's hard not to think that I might be dreaming."
After unbuttoning the cuffs, he simply pulled his shirt over his head and dropped it next to his boots. László could be fairly bad about leaving clothes lying on the floor.

Without thinking John picked up Laszlo's shirt and threw it in a basket with his own, he then pulled off his belt and suspenders and dropped them in a drawer next to the bed.
"I'm glad that I could help" John replied humbly, keeping his voice at an even tone with Laszlo's.

With an amused smirk, he fished his shirt back out of the hamper.
"That doesn't go there."
He sat back down, looking thoughtful.
"It's not just help. It's..." he gestured--not so much at the room as them at large.
"It's you."

"Sorry" he replied in relation to the shirt, but raised his eyebrow at Laszlo's last comment "me?"

"Help is one thing. But, the person also has something to do with it. If it'd been anyone else, I don't think I would've stayed here. Most of them always seemed to fake, like they were only pretending to care. You actually meant it all."
